Dr. Paul's Hair Treatment, Approach and Facilities Were Outstanding

WORTH IT
I did a hair transplant with Dr. Paul this May. I'm a mid-30s male with long hair, it's always been the most noteworthy part of my physical appearance and is a big part of my identity. I started losing my hair a few years ago and it accelerated with a lot of stress last year and my body hates propecia, so I decided to get a transplant.
I talked to ~10 of the top doctors in the New York area about my options and settled on Dr. Paul because he felt the most informed, honest, cosmetically aware, and cutting edge in his work. I like that he's a surgeon and thinks from a cosmetic long-term looks perspective. I particularly appreciated when he told me that PRP wouldn't work for me and I should save my money, even though that's what I originally went in to explore.
The pre-op approach was excellent and very thorough, well-informed. Dr. Paul helped me find the right mix of conservative / aggressive approach to my hairline, and I felt good about how he looked at it from a cosmetic perspective.
The operation itself was flawless. The facilities are incredibly new and clean, and I was able to play my favorite music in the operating room so I could be comfortable. I basically half-slept through the whole thing, it was pretty painless. Dr. Paul and his assistants coached me through everything, made me feel comfortable, and I was surprised by how quickly it went.
It's only a month out so the results aren't visible yet in terms of new hair, as that takes 4-5 months to start showing. But as soon as I removed the bandages a day after the surgery I could tell the work was excellent. The hairline was very clearly reinforced in the right places without going too far ahead of existing hair or looking too linear, and everything was healing well. I was expecting a two-week recovery in terms of risk of infection and scabs, but I'm young and healthy and the surgery was very cleanly done so it only took me about 8-9 days before I was able to start showering regularly and begin running again (I went back to work after 3 days).
Six weeks later it's impossible to tell I had a procedure, you couldn't tell after basically 10 days. I'm really excited to see how the results look as everything has been excellent so far. Would highly recommend Dr. Paul to anyone considering a transplant, I've already sent 3 friends his way!
