Incredible face and neck lift results by Dr. Andrew Jacono by 47 year old female

I am so pleased to be on the other side of my surgery and able to write such a glowing review of Dr. Jacono. Dr. J performed a face and neck lift on me with micro-liposuction about 2 months ago. I could not be happier with my results, it is even better than what I anticipated. I am a 47 year old female. I take very good care of myself, work out regularly, eat well and do everything that I can to maintain my appearance. I had facial fat grafting surgery about 10 years ago from a different doctor that left the bottom of my face heavy and drooping. My neck was also starting to droop and get heavy. Although I still looked pretty good, I felt that my face did not reflect how youthful I felt on the inside. I decided to pursue surgery.

I carefully interviewed several doctors in NYC and LA. I even booked a surgery with a different NYC doctor previous to meeting Dr. Jacono, and then a few weeks later cancelled it in fear. After an extensive search I finally met with Dr. Jacono, and immediately felt comfortable with him. Not only were his before and after photo's extremely natural and impressive, but his personality and manner made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. I felt like I was speaking with someone that I could be friends with. Dr. J is very relatable, open and honest, easy to talk to, down to earth and extremely knowledgable. I also liked that he specializes only in facial surgeries, making him an expert in his field. he has performed thousands of these surgeries. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. He runs a fellowship program as well, and his fellow Dr. Sean Alemi also won me over with his kind and gentle approach. I watched many of his former patients raving about him on Youtube, which gave me additional confidence in my decision. I also appreciated that he uses local anesthesia with sedation rather than general. I went ahead and booked the surgery.

The day of my surgery I was absolutely terrified, on the verge of tears in the pre-op room. His staff could not have been nicer to me, putting me at ease. Dr. Jacono took me by the hand and made me feel very safe and comfortable. I brought in many photo's from my youth, once again explaining how I wanted to look, as I was terrified of bad results. He again listened and acknowledged my concerns.

I am now two months out and I am pleased with the results beyond my wildest dreams! I was just at my 2 month post-op appointment and I could not stop giggling in the office, and he agreed. I am so happy. I look more youthful, but completely natural. No one would ever know that I had this kind of surgery. My neck is beautiful, and my face looks just like me, only better and younger. I have a naturally round face, and I was so scared that it would like too angular post- surgery, and it does not. It is perfect, me but younger again. The results are just incredible.

The recovery was totally fine. I took pain killers for only one day, and then just extra-strength tylenol starting day 2. I did hibernate for about 2 weeks while the initial bruising and swelling receded. At about 2 weeks I looked normal enough to re-enter life, although I was a bit self-conscious. The swelling goes down slowly but surely.

I hope this review is helpful to anyone that is on the fence. This surgery is one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. I wear turtlenecks again and my hair up with pride, and my husband can't stop commenting on how great I look. I look amazing. I am so glad that I did it!
