I am absolutely blown away by Dr Varona and his entire team.

Let's start with the consultation with Jen. She immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Considering and admitting you need a hair transplant is a very difficult decision to make. She walked me through multiple techniques using a computer monitor and scalp models. She showed me pictures at different stages of hair loss and recovery. She never once put the hard sell on me. I never felt pressured in any way. I did a few consultations before deciding on Dr Varona and many of the other doctors I met with felt like slimy used car salesman. Jen was the opposite. She was warm and inviting from the very first second AND the prices she quoted me were extremely reasonable. They were exactly within my price range without even telling her what I was willing to spend.

The day of surgery I arrived at 9am and met Dr. Varona's surgical assistants, Vanessa and Yolie. They had big bright smiles. It made me feel relaxed immediately. I was warned by a friend that I might get cold feet the morning of surgery. Vanessa and Yolie took away any doubts and fears at once.

Dr Varona came in and complimented me right away, telling me I had great hair. What a wonderful confidence booster on a stressful day. He then drew on what was to become my new hairline and his artistry was instantly evident. His bedside manner is unparalleled being communicative and comforting, knowledgeable and nice. He spent the next 3+ hours painstakingly performing a manual FUE with a minimal punch as to allow little to no scarring so that I may wear my hair short on the sides. He was meticulous and precise and even, by my request, avoided harvesting grey hair. I felt absolutely no pain during this time thanx to Yolie administering the perfect amount of local anesthesia to my head. I can't even tell you how many times Vanessa, Jen, Yolie and Dr Varona asked me if I needed anything. My comfort was a top concern to everyone in the room. During this time 4 lab assistants were cleaning and counting my grafts and separating them into piles of 1, 2 and 3 hairs. I couldn't believe that a team of 8 people we working on my new hairline. I knew I was in the right hands.

After harvesting was complete they fed me a delicious lunch. I was STARVING due to the anesthesia. It was so wonderful to be fed before we started the implantation.

After lunch Dr Varona started the process of deciding where and poking the holes for each graft, poking in the direction as to how the hair should grow. This is the part where is takes a true artist like Dr Varona to get the hairline just right. Shortly thereafter his assistants came back in and placed each graft into the predetermined hole while I watched netflix and ate snacks that they had provided.

I've had 2 follow up appointments and laser light treatments and am healing very nicely. They sent me home with a post-op kit including step by step fool proof instructions. I've have little to no swelling in my brow and face.

I can't sing their praises enough. The really know what they are doing and truly care about their patients. Any post-op questions have been answered within a matter of minutes by both Jen and Dr Varona. This team can't be beat.
