I have been studying and researching this site for a few months now. I am 59 and I think I have the worst neck than anyone I've seen on this site. I am going with Thomas Sterry and I am working on uploading the pix. Scheduled for Friday 2/19. Had a consult w him and I was hooked. I felt his sincerity and I trust him and his staff to take me to the other side...
I chose him after looking at his before & after pics and his delightful demeanor. So will post more as I experience it.

Do you really think I will end up with a tight neck? Is that possible? It's so hard to imagine ????????

Yes. Liposuction on my arms and i will be getting neck/chin lipo on March 2nd. I'm thrilled with the results of my arms and I'm sure I will feel the same way about the neck. A close friend also had her arms done but Dr. Sterry and she is very happy. Feel free to ask any specific questions. :-)

Thanks. David Rosenberg wants double the price . He's hot in New York ! I am a Mammographer so I see a lot of work by these docs so although mine is a facelift I am confident sterry is my man! When I first consulted w him I wanted Lipo
On my neck but he thought Lipo would make it worse.
So I then considered a neck lift and he agreed and had a contract written up. Later I thought if I'm doing it already I won't be happy if the rest of my face is still hanging so just when I was thinking to do the whole thing he asked me to come in. He was so cute but what he tried to say was that I need the facelift . I had already decided in my head that's what I was gonna do. So here we are. Tomor morning I'll b looking to the other side... Thank you for sharing. It really helps to be able to talk to you. I'm not telling my mom do I have guilt feelings but she's 92'and blind and I thought it would make her too crazy. So 1 more night.!!!!!

I totally get not telling family! I'm sure it would make her worried. I think your doing the right thing Mine didn't know about the arms until almost a year after the fact. I'm gonna follow the same protocol when it comes to my neck. I'm so excited and happy for you! Lots and lots of luck tomorrow and happy healing! Looking forward to seeing your pics :-))

Hi marchwind we are the same age does our neck fall down at age 66 I sure don't remember it looking this bad at 64 my procedure is March 17 with Dr. Harley in Ashville I am getting the lower face lift and neck lift and under my eyes done when is yours

No doubt I woke up at 64 and there it was on the floor! lol. I'm definitely going to check out your doc. I have been seriously considering Dr Carlos Barrera in san Miguel MX . The only thing is I will need some fat grafting I believe and I don't think he does that. but I haven't committed as yet.

That is too funny I agree, I have these wrinkles on my lower face and I truly believe they are from me sleeping on my pillow and they just appeared out of nowhere a couple of years ago, maybe I should get silk pillow cases they say these help without getting wrinkles I guess will see.

I am 59 also and just had a lower face lift on Feb. 2. My neck looked just like yours! I am 15 days post surgery now and although I am still slightly bruised, swollen, and waiting for stitches to dissolve and scabs to fall off . . . I can see a huge difference in my jowels and neck. My husband says he is so impressed with the improvement already. Good luck with your surgery and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Would love to see pic. Where was your surgery ? I'm having a full lift in that my cheecks are no longer where they are supposed to b. They fell too! I want a drop of juvederm on the sides iof my mouth cause I look angry a lot of the time

I'll try to get a pic loaded. I had my surgery in Yakima, WA. Thinking of you tonight and remembering how I felt the night before! So nervous and excited at the same time. Anxious to see how you do!

It was wonderful! Dr Sterry was amazing! His male nurse was the best! ! Assistant Vivian was like an old friend . I felt like I was hanging out with them rather than going for surgery. So now I have no pain as my jaw is still numb but it feels like I'm wearing a headband. Surgery started at9:30 and I was out the door at 5:30. Dr sterry already called to check on me. Will b seeing him in the morn. My mouth or speech is not impeded at all? Weird
