Updated Pictures
I haven’t updated in a while. Here are a few pictures. I first wore this dress for my birthday back in 2014. At the time I remember thinking “damn these things have to go.” The after (same dress) picture was December 2018 for my annual holiday gift exchange. What a difference! I feel so much better.!!! I hope the pictures upload properly.
Four Weeks Post Op
I had my second post op visit at the four week mark. The girls are healing nicely! I had a few sutures poking out which the doctor removed. When I first noticed them I was quite concerned. I sent a text msg to Dr. Reisch asking him about it. He texted me back right away telling me it’s normal and that I shouldn’t worry about it. All of the incision sites are closed and they look pretty thin. I’ve been applying Biocorneum Advanced Scar Treatment twice a day as advised by my doctor. So far all is well!
First Follow Up Post Op
I went in for my first follow up post op appointment on Tuesday. As always my Dr was patient, thorough, and very pleasant. He removed all the dressings and carefully examined the new breasts. He explained again that the beginning stages they aren’t at their best. They’re still pretty swollen which is visible and you can feel it too. They also have to settle in and take on their shape. I must say “I love the fact that they’re lifted and the areolas are so small.” They also look pretty small! Before surgery my doctor and I discussed sizes, and we both agreed that a “C Cup” is ideal for me. I know it’s too soon to tell but I’ve tried on a few blouses and they’re all too big! I’m going to post pics in my “Fruit of the Loom” sports bra. It’s all cotton, and I think after the bandages and dressings come off an all cotton bra is best. Just my opinion...
