Terrible results!

Would you want to have your breasts look like this? Me either, but they do.

I did it! Whoo hoo!!

Hi ladies! Had my surgery on 2/11, and came home afterwards...it's been a blur ever since!! Have to say, my pain has NOT been crazy bad, which is what I was expecting! The only real PAIN I've experienced has been as a result of the tape I was covered with! Every place that tape touched my skin, has turned into a horrible, painful 'blood blister" type of wound! And OMG it's so painful!! So I'm trying to cover these wounds, but am having trouble doing that because of the tape! I've tried paper tape, NexCare Sensitive skin tape, and have just ordered silicone tape for sensitive skin! Right now, I'm trying to keep my wound area covered with the Band Aid large gauze pads, then the bra can hold the gauze pads in! Along with that I'm using the ABD pads that I'm covering the wounds with, and again...trying to hold it all in with my bra! So these are some of my unusual challenges!!
But.....I am SO, So small! I am thrilled with the size my doctor made me, even though I know I'm still super swollen, there is such a marked improvement in the size of my breasts, that when my swelling goes down, and I'm back to my new 'normal' whatever that is, I'm gonna love it! I DO still have the drain tubes in, can't wait for those to be removed! My left nipple was kind of gross looking Monday (sort of gray black colored...ugh! I saw that and thought OMG!!!...But today, it looks 100% better!
My doctor said she removed 930 grams out of one side, and then 1059 grams out of the other side...so all totaled about 5.5 0 pounds removed from my chest...a small baby! :) Hooray! Will take pictures before the next post! I know I rambled a lot here!

Prepping all the way around!

So today is two days out from surgery on Thursday. I'm cooking, have been dusting and cleaning bathrooms, cleaned the fridge out and wiped it out, and touching base with my last minute clients before my big day! Last night had a hard time falling asleep...very excited!
Good luck to others that are having surgery on 2/11, I know there are several of us!

Love her! She was very frank about expectations, and thought we could get insurance to cover the surgery, and she was right! I was ref'd to her by my back doctor, as someone who does great work, and I have found both the doctor AND everyone in her office to be great!
