My Ideal Nose! - New Orleans, LA
ORIGINAL POST
I am currently saving for rhinoplasty and chin...
$5,000
I am currently saving for rhinoplasty and chin implant. I'm hoping to undergo my transformation in December. I've always been discouraged by my looks. I personally feel that my undefined nose and lack of a facial profile via weak chin is hindering me from obtaining jobs in the service industry. I simply want to gain more confidence in myself. I strongly feel that plastic surgery will greatly help me in life. I've always seen myself as the ugly ducking growing up... With this investment I feel this will be the best gift I can give myself being 30 years old. It's time for a change for the better.

I think , as well, that your nose looks ideal, at the same time I would suggest a chin implant. This would give a more proportioned look on your face and your nose would look great as well! It would be better to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon without stressing out the nose as your main concern and see what he would suggest .

Like other people said you nose looks just fine. Uou might look into getting a chin implant to have the projection and maybe lose some pounds (am not saying you are fat). If You want your nose done so bad, ask for a refined surgery nothing major; I guess they call it finesse. Your nose looks nice as it is' nthing wrong with it

Totally understand, amelva. No worries. I am actually of normal weight in proportion to my height. As I mentioned before my lack of chin makes me look like a pufferfish. Not a good look, I say. Hahaha thanks for the recommendation. I will def I inquire.

your whole face looks lovely. ur chin is a normal sized chin. i don't think you need anything done on your chin. you could have a nose job if you want, but i see no flaw in your face. your nose looks better than rosario dawson.

Thank you for starting your story on RealSelf. I think you are cute as can be. If you do this, make sure to research your surgeon like crazy. Here's a list of questions to ask, plus add on questions about how experienced the doctor is working African American noses. You want a board certified plastic surgeon who has done many AA noses in the past!

You're lovely!
I see you have an overbite, are your teeth proportionate to the size of your mouth (large, gaps, etc.)? I ask because it's possible the overbite and tooth size may contribute to the APPEARANCE of a weak chin.
What exactly do you want done to your nose? Have the bridge narrowed? Have the tip refined and raised? Nostrils smaller? Good luck on your search!

Thanks, Elle. :-) My main area of concern is my nose. I do have an overbite and I plan on consulting an orthodontist about that issue. With my nose, I simply want a more narrow/defined bridge, a defined tip and maybe slightly smaller nostrils. I might need a cosmetic surgeon to de fat my bolbus tip to add a bit more definition. As for my chin, I am quite indifferent as to what I want to do. My lack of chin projection is giving my face a chubby appearance. I don't understand why my face look so plump. Not having a chin is making me look like a pufferfish... Haha I'm currently 130lbs and I'm very much in shape. I don't know... I just want a change. :-(
