22 Years Old- 36E Expected to Be 36C - New Orleans, LA

Surgery went great and I cannot be more please with my outcome. I'm feeling great and almost back to normal. I don't know what I expected, but I don't think I expected to be doing this well. The first couple of days were kind of rough.. But nothing out of the ordinary. I slept a lot mostly. I cried when i first saw my breasts. I had quite a few emotional days since my procedure. I went for my follow up 6 days after surgery and my dr say everything looked great. I cried a little again when I began pulling the tape off because I was scared of what they looked like. I've seen so many horrible things happen to some people (nipples turning black, etc.). I'm so very grateful that mine looked normal! Having my drains taken out was such a relief! Talk about miserable. But if that's the worst of my experience, I guess it's not so bad. My boyfriend's mom took me to the dr that day and I was feeling great after, so we decided to do a little shopping. I was able to try on a few tops and to my surprise I went down an entire shirt size- some even two shirt sizes in some things!!!! Of course I bought every top that I tried on because of my excitement! So, went home and cleaned out all swimsuit tops and bras and I'm never looking back. If you're considering on having a breast reduction, I highly recommend it. I've never been happier with my body than I am now.

I'm so excited about my surgery! I am 5'7 175lbs and a 36E (probably closer to a F- haven't been measured properly in a while.) I'm really looking forward to no more back and neck pain! I'm starting to get very nervous in the upcoming days before the surgery. I have read plenty of reviews, but have found this site the most helpful. I hope I can help others searching too!
