I wanted to get rid of my double chin, I researched Kybella, cool sculpting and chin lipo before I decided on chin lipo, I chose a board certified plastic surgeon the procedure took about 1 hour but most of that time was spent numbing my chin/jowl area. Although the procedure was not painful, the numbing medication (shots) were painful. I was able to drive home right after the procedure and I have not needed any pain medication. The doctor said I should expect to be swollen for a couple weeks and I should where my head compression as much as possible. I'll update you weekly on my progress.

I'm recovering from a tt but I want to schedule my chin next month. Did it hurt?
April 25, 2016
No the procedure was painless and quick and I did't have any pain after the procedure either however the shots to numb the chin and jowl areas were painful to me but I'm not great at taking pain so you may be able to handle it better than me I shed a few tears while I was receiving the shots.

I worn it day and night for the first 3 days now I'm back at work so I only wear it at night. I have a follow up doctors appointment May 6th so I know I'll be wearing it at least until that time.

Well it's been 7 days I've worn my chin compression every night. I went back to work after 4 days after my procedure.......so far everything is coming along nicely. I still have swelling and my chin/neck area is still sore but no complications.....I'll post again in 7 days.

Hi, are you wearing your chin strap to work? Has anyone asked you anything about your chin? Did the Dr. tell you how much fat he removed? I'm thinking about having it done too but don't want to wear the chin strap in public/at work. Thanks for sharing; I'll be following your progress. Looking good so far!
