Have you been lifting weights? How is your incision. I am still having some issues with mine. just doesnt want to heal! ugh

Yes I started lifting weights. CAN'T do any chest exercises. It just feels wierd. I'm wondering if that's just how it's going to feel now. My incision is healing nicely. It is a little sore and has white stitches poking out here and there. I just want to be back to normal too. I still get a little pooch in my lower belly at night. Is it swelling or is it just a permanent pooch. It's not there in the am though. How about you. What issues are you having with your incision?

It will always feel a little weird in your chest- you just get use to it after a while. The muscle kind of pushes the implant to the side- right? I am jealous about your incision. Mine is sort of a mess. I have been putting peroxide in one spot to try to dry it out. Sucks! i have one spot that keeps on pussing (sorry- dont mean to be gross). It feels like a stitch underneath that just wont come to the surface. Do we have to go back in 3 months? Meaning 6/21? I forgot to ask at the last visit. Let me know.

My next appt is July 6th. He is on vacation the week before that. I used neosporin on my incision from the first time the tape was changed. In fact, I'm still using it under my breasts. About the chest exercising, yes it does feel that way. I was scared I would do some damage to it, but that is how it feels. It feels like the implant is being pushed and squeezed which I guess it actually is. Did you do a lot of chest exercises with your implants? It's scary because I never had them before.

Did you call the office to tell them that this area keeps pussing?

I can't lift weights yet right??? I can't wait feels like my arms are gonna turn to mush. I walked two slow miles yesterday! My incision I think is good. I don't see it under the tape. Call Karen and ask her about the puss she's the one that tells you everything!

It's coming off slowly. Isn't it always that way. Comes on quick, hard as hell to take off ughhhhh. My stomach looks good though it's just my thighs and ass that are fat lol. I put the neosporin on with a q-tip right over the incision line so the tape will still stick. I'm still using the neosporin on all of my incisions. I use maderma too. I rotate the two. I think you can lift weights because you didn't have your breasts done. You can definitely work your upper body.

no didnt because when i went in last week they saw it and said it is normal. It is the bodies way of trying to spit out the stitch. It is not infected just one spot that keeps forming like a pimple and just pusses a little bit. So weird. lol anyway the rest of the incision looks good!
are we suppose to go in again at 3 months?

How often do you change your tape I don't like the feeling so as long as it's not peeling up I leave it alone is that bad? I thought I could lift weights because Dr. said I could start picking up thing that were 20 25 pds so I thought why not weights Last week they said just start walking. Yesterday I walked two miles and had a crazy day didn't sit till 11 last night and my stomach feels funny so today I won't walk

I can see the three of us have very little patience with recovery! and you two are ahead of me!

I would leave it on until they tell you that you don't need it anymore. Buy your own roll of paper tape and change it every other day. Put some neospotin on a qtip and just run it along the cut and replace the tape. That's what I did and my incision is healing really nice. I know that might not be the reason, because everyone heals differently but it's worth a shot.

Hi readyforachange! Easter was good hope yours was too. I got around pretty good. I still have trouble sitting at the table to eat Im feeling pretty good though.How are you feeling? Is your belly flat?? I thought mine would be flatter still kind of puffed out I know its only 2 weeks for me. I go back to see him on Wedensday at the freehold office. Let me know how you are doing!

I'm doing well. My stomach is pretty flat, but not as flat as it should be. I blame that on my weight gain. Once I can start working out hard, I'll get this weight off. I gained some weight because I had to quit smoking. So with that and not working out, my weight is creeping up. It's very depressing. I'm still very happy with my results. I really wasn't looking for a 6 pack. I just wanted to get rid of the hanging skin which is gone. My upper abdomen is really loose. I should have gone for a full tt but I was too scared. It still looks pretty good and like I said once I can start working out with weights, I think it will all look awesome. What time is your appt tomorrow? I'm going too.

I thought about the full tuck too, butnhe said I only needed a mini which is what i wanted to hear anyway!..I had lip on the upper and I was always small there so thats fine> I agree with you I think when we get back to working out it will look good as long as the skin is gone. Did you walk a mile at 2 weeks I'd love to walk today just a short walking dvd that I have. What time are you going tomorrow? I'll be at the freehold office at 10.

I feel like going in at 10 just to meet the two of you. My appt. is at 1:00. Maybe the next one. We should all go walking together one day. I think we all live in the same area..meet at Belmar or Manasquan or something like that. Go walk you will be fine. Just take it slower than usual and wear your binder. I walked three miles today and did a workout tape. Feels good to start getting back.. I sure as hell need it :)

wish you were going at 10 too! I think we do live close to each other When it's nice out I walk at a park on route 537 It's beautiful one time around is like 2.3 miles so I usually go around like 3 times. I don't know why I can never remember the name of it its across from a golf course. I'll definitely walk where ever! Good luck tomorrow!

Yes the incision and just below is very ithcy. Do you girls still have tape on yours do the stitches desolve? I have a 10 appointment will you be at the freehold office/ Would love to meet the two of you!

I have stitches poking out all over my boobs and stomach. Can't wait to get them cut off tomorrow. The incision is still tender. It's redish/blue and a little raised on one side. I'm still wearing the paper tape on the incisions too. I'm scared to be without them. All in all I feel great except for my weight gain. Wish I could meet you tomorrow but my appt isn't until 1. Let me know how it all goes. I'll keep you posted too.

Ok good- glad to know its not just me. I cant even wear the paper tape because my incision is very raw. I feel better believe it or not iwth the incison open to the air. I have stitches popping out and wherever they pop out, i am red and raw. weird right? I cant wait to have them cut off too. I am very tempted to do it myself! lol

So disappointed I didn;t meet you! I was about 10 or so minutes late! Were you done already? There was a woman in the waiting room but I didn't ask if it was you I didnt think it was for some reason I asked the nurses if you were still there when I was finished and they said you had left already. How did your appointment go. I was alittle disappointed after waiting he talked to me for about 2 minutes! I had to ask the nurse all my questions, I even said to the nurse that was fast!

I want to have a benelli lift - which is what I should have done in the first place. This is just a mini breast lift which raises the nipple. The scar is only around the nipple. Trust me i would benefit from it. He even agreed. I thought a larger implant would perk my breasts up a bit but in reality they now sag more. I know they are not terrible but i am a bit crazy and want perfect breasts. The pic i have up is 2 weeks post op and my arms are on my hips which makes them look perkier i think. They have dropped since than unfortunately. He called me a perfectionist but i am who i am! lol i need a touch up on my hips anyway with the liposuction which he did agree on. So if i have to go in again for that and be put to sleep again, I mine as well do it right. I am going to probably go back in November.

What do you mean by a touch up on the hips? I guess your right, if your gonna go under again you should get everything you want done. Would he charge you for the touch up on the hips?

Are you annoyed that he didn't suggest that from the beginning??
