So Happy I Chose Dr. Amit Gupta
After months of contemplating and lots of research I decided to go to India to have an eyebrow and hairline transplant. From my research I learned that Hair Transplant Surgery is 'massive' in India
with thousands of doctors to choose from and with competitive pricing compared to Australia where the prices for hair transplant are prohibitive. I had always wanted to visit the Golden Triangle so on this basis I restricted my search to New Delhi so that I could tag a holiday onto my surgery and make it all worthwhile. From Realself reviews I contacted a few clinics but found them to be either just as expensive as in Australia and others were frustrating in their inexperience in dealing with foreigners. Dr. Gupta's clinic was a standout in pricing, efficiency and service. Communication between myself and the Clinic was flawless and of course his Reviews were excellent. I was nervous but confident in my decision to go with Dr. Gupta. So much so that my 30 year old son decided to come with me and have a hair transplant on his receding hairline as well. We travelled to India in April and the surgery
was scheduled two days later. Upon meeting Dr. Gupta I felt immediately comfortable with my
decision. He was extremely personable and reassuringly confident and explained the procedure and
what would be achieved in great detail. He and his team were warm and hospitable and made sure
my son and I would be comfortable throughout the procedure. Four months has passed and the clinic is still in close contact with me to make sure everything is proceeding well and to answer any concern. It's so exciting to see all the new hair sprouting in all the places it was transplanted. My son and I are both thrilled. And the best is still to come over the next few months.
All the indications are that my son will be wanting and needing more hair transplants in the future and
its comforting to know that the search is over. He will definitely be going back to see Dr. Gupta
when that time comes.
