I really like this procedure.I work in the entertainment industry so I am hypercritical about my face. I had this procedure several years ago.I like the mix of tightening and peeling as it staves off a full face lift for a few years. I have had numerous procedures on my face over the years, so I feel pretty qualified to write a review. First, all of my face work has been done by Dr.Chatham. He is The Man.
I think it is very important to prepare far in advance. Before I have any work done, I do some Bikram Yoga to cleanse.
I also begin juicing vegetables more. I stock up on soup for afterward.I get the homeopathic Arnica into my system.I also go to the drug store to get the medicines Dr. Chatham has prescribed. (You do not want to stop anywhere on your way home.) You will also need supplies. I like the name brand Q tip for my cotton swabs and I suggest a squeeze bottle of Vaseline to keep the germs at bay.
This procedure did not require anesthesia so I was able to eat that morning. This is important because the medicines you will take afterward will need to be taken on a full stomach.
Wear a button down shirt. You do not want to be changing your shirt over your head. I like to wear something that has a special memory. (I am all about being in the right place with my energy for medical procedures.)
Be sure to enlist a helper for afterward. Pick someone gentle and patient.
These procedures really hurt. This time the incisions seemed to hurt more than the peel, but it could go either way. The pain does finally go away.Alternating between hot and cold really helped me.
Please do exactly as Dr. Chatham asks. It is very important to let yourself heal properly. I took off for 2 weeks and stayed mellow.
Keep your head elevated as much as you can, this will help decrease the swelling. I usually look like a pumpkin head that first night.
I tend to have an excess of skin on one side which gives me a pleat. If you get a pleat, do not freak out. It will go away. The pleat will give you a smaller incision. My incisions are small and well hidden. I have to point them out to hair and make up people.

Hi Bettino,
Thank you!!
Dr. Chatham horizontally pulled the skin by my eyes back just a tad. The scars are right above my ears. This is a subtle artistic move. If done wrong, the shape of your eyes could get changed.
I love the results!

Your transformation is amazing! What medications do you take after the procedure? You suggest a helper. What does your helper do? Again, you look terrific. Please keep us updated.
Thank you for the kind words! I took pain medicine, an antibiotic and a special eye bacitracin. My helper brought me the medicines, soup and water. I needed help bathing and getting around as well. I have 7 pets so I needed someone to watch over them as well. I turn 51 in January and I love what Dr. Chatham has done for my confidence!!
You look terrific and the tips you've shared with the community are so helpful. Wow, seven pets. I won't get my kids one pet :)
