WORTH IT$2,300
Dr. Don Chatham created an exponentially awesome experience with everything to knowledge, and as far as the procedure itself(etc.). I was very well pleased with the whole outcome and would not change it for the world. He is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure to work with to accomplish my dream into a reality. I highly recommend anybody interested in a surgical procedure that he preforms to take a visit to Dr. Chatham's office which is located in New Albany, Indiana, State street. in the professional arts suites near the hospital. THANK YOU DOCTOR C!!! :DI would also be more then welcome to post pictures of myself but unfortunately the computer I am using will not allow me to do so. Trust me, I look great!!! Haha!

Ok thank you. It's his left ear also, he has little helical curve as they call it.
Were you local? What type of anesthesia? And I'm assuming they are permanent sutures?

Yeah np, it's nice to help other people in the same situation as I. Yes I am local to the area but his practise is right next to the hospital so very easy to find.
Not sure what anesthesia but I know it did the job well haha. And yes, I do have permanent sutures. Assuming it might be different person to person. I'm happy to help!

The corrected war does look great. For those seeking similar results, keep in mind that this patient had what looks to be only an issue with the angle of protrusion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any other issue such as conchal bowl enlargement, helical or anti-helical abnormalities, or need for overall reduction in size. I wish my ears were as close to normal as this patient's pre-op photo, seemingly requiring only reduction in angle with a natural anti-helical curve already present after the setback. Ears requiring more work don't always look so great post-op. Congratulations on your successful procedure!

By any chance does your father or mother have the same ears as you? What about your siblings.
I ask because I had otoplasy in 7th grade and I'm wondering if my kids will likely have protruding ears as well.
In most kids I see, it looks like they tend to get their ears from their father. For the record, I am a male but my dad doesn't have protruding ears. My older brother doesn't have them either. I'm HOPING my case was a birth defect and it (hopefully) WON'T be passed to my kids. Or maybe they will get my wife's perfect ears. :)
If mine was a birth defect, will that defect be passed down to my kids?
There's also a product called Ear-Buddies and people have had good experience with them. It needs to be used when kid is very young though.
Either way, wishing you health and life long happiness!
Thank you for the recognition! Luckily I am very confident that the morphality that simply a birth defect. I am currently the only person who had the protruding ear. I have a child and her ears are perfect(thank the Lord) haha. You should have no worries upon that issue. I am not sure what caused the birth defect in my case but I think it just had to do with the biology off birth in my case. Glad you and I took the steps to fixing it though! Nice meeting you.
