So Good I Had It Done Twice
After deciding I didn't like the bald look I first looked into Neograft with Dr Robbins about 6 years ago. He explained the procedure to me and I booked my first 2500 grafts. I was not sure what to expect but it was a long day. I remember on one of my early follow ups I told him I didn't think it was working. He assured me everything looked great and told me that the process of growing hair was like watching paint dry - only slower. He was right. Everything came in like it was supposed to.
Fast forward 6 years and I notice when my hair was wet I was seeing more scalp on the top of my head than I wanted to so I booked a follow up appointment. Both he and the Neograft technicians agreed - basically what was on my head was the grafts put in 6 years earlier and most of the natural hair had simply fallen out. This time I booked the full 3000 graft session. My thought process was - if I was going to have a long day then let's put in the max possible. Please note when I say long day it is not that it is a painful day, you have to lay on your stomach in the morning as they remove the hair from the back of your head. The afternoon goes much faster and really no discomfort because he has two technicians placing the grafts up front.
As usual his staff was awesome. Very friendly, helpful and caring.
I can not recommend the procedure high enough. Over the past 6 years I have told a couple of barbers / hair stylists after my hair cut that I have had a Neograft. The reaction is always the same "no way!!", then they start to examine my head very closely and call over any colleagues in the area to check out my hair. They all say the same thing - if I had not told them they would have never had guessed.
