I had breast reconstruction after a bi-lateral mastectomy. I had previously received radiation on one side and a breast reduction on the other. There was a lot of scar tissue and possible issues with healing. The procedure was much easier than anticipated and ended with a great result. I could not be happier.

Dr. Janssen was a referral from a breast cancer surgeon. I was facing breast cancer for the 2nd time and cancer for the 3rd time. I had a lot of questions and concerns about next steps. He took time to explain options along with the pros and cons of each. He never made me felt rushed or uneasy. The process started in February and due to some unforeseen circumstances couldn't be completed until October. He was willing to work with me and ensure me that my comfort and timing was important. He is a very knowledgeable and a caring doctor. His sense of humor that he brought was also very much appreciated.
