Update - 36 Year Old with Cancer - Bilateral Mastectomy and Reconstruction - Neenah, WI
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 1 that later turned into Stage 2 (found out in Pathology during Nipple Sparing Bilateral Mastectomy that was decided by me. I was advised by my Breast Surgeon to have just a Lumpectomy). I did not know when I woke up if I would have nipples and cried when they were there!
Dr. Janssen, Kate, Meg and the other staff at the office have been the MOST honest caring people besides the Cancer Center in Oshkosh.
Dr. Janssen has been one of my hero's during this and I always LOVE if he stops in to see me during an appointment or he's able to see me himself. He's a busy man but I know he genuinely cares about me and Kate as well! Definitely wouldn't go anywhere else!
The expanders were a hard time but I finally got my implants along with a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Being Estrogen Positive I am NOT messing around. The sad part was we were just going to try for baby 2. Something told me to hold off and this was obviously it.
Just want everyone to know the experience I had would have been worse if it hadn't been for Dr. Janssen and his staff. I truly think each of you were meant to be in my life and in my treatment.
Also, NOT ONCE did he decide how big I was going. That was my decision. I have always wanted bigger boobs and after baby they just got worse. So, even though I have BC, I wanted the DD and went for 685 Mentor under the muscle and they are an awesome DD and look phenomenal!! If you didn't know you would just assume I had a Breast Augmentation.

Dr Janssen has been more amazing to me than any Dr I have been seeing on my Cancer journey and I say that with all honesty. He will tell you he has an ego right from the start and that is what you want but he is way more than that. The time him and his staff have taken with me is amazing and has made this journey that much easier. His outcome was better than anything we could have imagined!!! Excellent Dr who will tell you the truth and really knows what he's doing. Love love love his work!!!
