I am a 62-year -old woman living in the Boston area. I am an extremely discerning person with very high standards so when I considered having facial surgery and in particular a neck lift, I took finding the right surgeon very seriously. I did extensive homework and met with what is considered nine of Boston’s best plastic surgeons. I gladly paid each one of them a consultation fee and asked them each what work they thought I should have done. I told each one of them I wanted very natural results. I took copious notes as I listened to each doctor’s recommendations. Most suggested at least two procedures and some many more. I thought some of the doctors were quite nice, but I just didn’t get a good vibe as I also thought some had their own financial interest at heart rather than my outcome. I did the interviewing of the surgeons over a fourteen-month period and until I walked into the last doctor’s office which was Dr. Jeannie Chung’s office in Wellesley I was up in the air as to whether I would go forward with any surgery.
I met with Dr. Chung’s assistant Julie who took me into a consultation room and told me about Dr. Chung’s credentials and expertise and then showed me before and after pictures of the neck lift procedure.
