Used light compression overnight and swelling is worse

I used light compression as advised by the nurse overnight and my chin is terrible looking. It looks like it did before surgery, if not worse. I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong. They are closed for the weekend so I cannot call and find out. I am feeling very sad...

Here are the images

Forgot to post the compression images. Here's how they look.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Etiam lacinia ex eu ipsum pharetra iaculis. Proin iaculis diam in euismod maximus. Nulla eu eleifend ipsum. Curabitur vehicula est nec tincidunt pharetra. Phasellus et elit volutpat, posuere lectus id, finibus risus. Called their team about the results.

I talked with a nurse on my doctor's team. While I know it's a little early, I showed her the current results and that I was a bit disappointed. She said she showed the image to her office and they all agreed they see a difference. But it's really not that drastic as promised. She said it could still be swelling and to try an ace bandage compression. She said if the results are not what I am looking for once completely healed, then the doctor can address it at that time.

I tried the compression today for 3 hours and was pleasantly surprised how it seemed to make a difference. You can actually see an angle under my chin again, and a little more of my jawline.

The only downside is that it caused the incision under my chin to leak some fluid, and that surprised me. I thought it was closed up. I think there was swelling, and the incision was the easiest exist for the fluid. I am not sure if this is OK or not.

I will try compression every day for a couple hours and see how that goes.
