12 weeks post-op results are just getting better and better!
WORTH IT
When I posted one month post-op, I was already delighted with the results, but since then they've improved even further! I never dreamed I could have such a defined jawline! Some deep sutures are still surfacing behind my ears, but this is completely normal and they were trimmed by Dr Mattine during my last check-in. I cannot believe this is my jawline/neck, and cannot encourage enough anyone considering the limited necklift with lipo to go for it!

Best Decision I've Ever Made
If anyone reading this is considering consulting Dr Mattine. I had come across Dr Mattine when toying with the idea of doing something about my inexistent neck/chin definition during the pandemic, and decided to wait until he was offering clinics again rather than consult another surgeon, and I am so glad I did! He is not only friendly, professional and evidently an expert in his field, but he is also, quite frankly, a sculptor. The results of the limited neck lift with liposuction have surpassed my expectations (which were high) and the procedure has elevated my self-image tenfold - I no longer despair when catching sight of my reflection. Dr Mattine has transformed my inexistent chin/neck definition into a well-defined jawline and chin with completely natural results. Anyone who knew me before surgery cannot believe the difference. During the initial consultation, he was understanding and clearly explained all of the options I had, and guided me in making my decision whilst not applying the slightest pressure towards one option or another. On the day of surgery, along with the rest of the incredible team at Kat & Co, Dr Mattine put me entirely at ease - the whole experience was extremely positive. During the days following surgery, Dr Mattine called twice to check in on my recovery, which is testimony to his diligence towards his work and wonderful bedside manner. Post-op guidelines and advice were clear - I felt in good hands throughout the entire process. As for scarring - what scarring? The incisions behind my ears are invisible, and the incision underneath my chin is imperceptible.

I am going with the same surgeon with the same issue as you had, did u have the twilight anaesthesia? And if so did U feel any pain or any anxiety about it PleSe? I'm really worried about it x
Hiya, please don't worry yourself! I had local anaesthetic and it was the most stress-free procedure I've ever had! Dr Mattine and the team were all amazing from start to finish, they were really calming and reassuring so I didn't feel worried at all - I'd do it again in a heartbeat! As for pain, I was a little sore for a couple of days post-op, so stuck to a liquid diet for those days, but the pain was easily managed with the prescribed medication. Plus, Dr Mattine rang to see how my recovery was going the day after surgery, which was really reassuring, and the nurses were on-hand all the time! Hope that helps :) x
Ahhh thanks so much for your help I was really worried about that also do you know if twilight and local anaesthetic are the same things? Sorry to keep asking you things
Honestly, once you've recovered and you start seeing the results after swelling goes down, it will be so worth it and you'll be looked after so well! Twilight is more sedated than local anaesthetic :) I've only heard people talk about positive experiences with Twilight.

Thanks! The results seem to just get better every week, even at 2 months post-op! I paid around £5000 plus around £75 for my prescription for pre- and post-op medication. The 5k covered all post-op care, including recovery check-in calls, consultations, a lymphatic drainage massage after I got my dressings off and discounted further LDMs (absolute game-changer), 24/7 access to the Kat & Co. nurses, and Dr Mattine has mentioned potential steroid injections to perfect scar healing which will also be included in the original price :) I'd happily pay it again plus more for the results and care level!
