Consultation review: great surgeon, disappointed with his staff

I had my second consultation with dr.Motakis, after consulting several doctors in and out of Canada .
I felt the same trust and confidence in him, confirming my initial feeling that he is the doctor I should go with .
Extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional, suggesting less procedures than other doctors did, which gave me a great comfort.
Highly recommend him.

Also the initial luck of communication with the doctor coordinator Ruth was simply because of emails being lost, and was nobody fault .
Everybody was extremely helpful and considerate, excellent team .

I’ve met Dr.Motakis after several appointments with different surgeons in Toronto . And probably the one I felt right after consultation that I will be comfortable going with my surgery . Neck lift and lower face , also he suggested lower eyelid . Very knowledgeable, patient to answer to my questions, polite and considerate.

Left his office quite happy that I might found my surgeon .

Well, getting a quote for his stuff and her attitude…that’s a different story!

After my consultation I got a cold email from Ruth , with the prices for the procedures . I did have questions, yes , because the price was much higher than other surgeons, but that wasn’t my question about , the anesthesia had the same price as a surgery , separate high charge for a night in the clinic , where other surgeons have everything included in final price they charge, etc . I simply asked if I got the price correct, if the price changes if I don’t pursue with the second surgery ,etc . Normal questions to ask when you get a quote of over $30000.00

The person , Ruth , probably annoyed by my questions, didn’t bother to answer . Sent a second email, still nothing .

Probably because they don’t deal with people with questions like that. I felt that I don’t deserve the attention of this Ruth girl , and honestly quite offended .

And this is too bad , because I strongly believe that Dr. Motakis will give me the results I’m looking for .
