Five years ago, I finally got the courage to get breast implants. I always wanted them, but at the same time I was afraid I would not like the outcome. My fear came true. They were a disaster. I had a revision the following year and although they were slightly improved, I was still not happy with them. After two botched surgeries never would I have thought to go through yet another surgery until a friend recently recommended Dr. Motakis. Dr. Motakis took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. He was honest, kind, confident and I never felt rushed during any of my visits with him or his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Motakis as he is truly a gifted plastic surgeon. Six weeks post-surgery, Dr. Motakis has given me my confidence back and I am beyond excited with the results. My only regret is not having known him years back when I first decided to get breast implants.
Dr. Motakis is the best plastic surgeon in all of Toronto and Canada. He has an artist and a surgeon, and his hands are the only hands I would ever trust with my face. If you are lucky enough to be his patient, you will never want to see a different plastic surgeon again.
I had a deep plane face and neck lift with upper and lower eyelid surgery 8 months ago. WOW, there are no words to explain how happy I am. I'm 60 and look like I'm back in my late 40's. My neck and jawline are back to where they were 20 years ago. I look natural and fresh, my eyes don't look tired anymore. Dr. Motakis is kind, extremely knowledgeable and truly an artist when it comes to plastic surgery. I went to a few other surgeons for a consolation and I know I made the best choice going with Dr. Motakis. His team is also very kind and quick at responding to any calls or emails. If you are thinking of having a facelift and are looking for a surgeon I would highly recommend you go to Dr. Motakis, he is the best!!!
The staff is so lovely and very knowledgeable. They explained everything to be so I understood what to expect. I wanted to have a more defined stomach without having surgery. They recommend the Emsculpt. I have very happy I went with that treatment. It was very comfortable and a great workout. I have a line down my tummy now that wasn't there before. I am a very happy client!
I am very happy that I decided to go with Dr. Motakis to get my emsculpt treatments done. The staff was very professional and they made me feel very comfortable. I got my stomach done and it really felt like I was going an ab workout. I was sore after the treatments but sore in the best possible way. I am very happy with my results and can't wait to get more areas done.
Dr Motakis and his staff were professional from start to finish. I’m only two weeks post of and I couldn’t be happier with my results so far. His reviews were what prompted me to have a consultation and consider him for my surgery but he has definitely exceeded my expectations on every level.
As I have gotten older my butt has been starting to loose its volume and I have a really hard time working it out because of a old knee injury. I went to Dr. Motakis client to do the Emsculpt on my butt. Wow it was the weirdest but best workout I have ever done on my butt. The first treatment felt strange but after that I was looking forward to every appointment I had coming up. My butt now looks great and I couldn’t be happier!
Dr. Motakis and his team are phenomenal! After the operation the nurse even held my arm and walked me out to my drive home. I was perfectly fine to walk and had no pain but she still held my arm. I had a inverted nipple correction and an old belly button piercing fixed. The skin where the piercing had stretched when I was pregnant with the girls. Despite these two small minor surgeries Dr. Motakis has already seen twice after the surgery to make sure that I am healing well. He continued to check up on me on a weekly basis via email when he was on vacation. I will be seeing him again in October as he wants to make sure to do everything that he can to treat my belly button scar. I hyperpigment extremely easy and had never heal well from scars. I even hyperpigment from a small scratch or a bandaid. With Dr. Motakis I feel like I am extremely good hands as he puts in the extra time and effort to make sure he does a good job. I feel like if I had chosen any other surgeon for these two small surgeries they would have cared less how my scars would have looked like in the long run. I will be definitely be a returning patient for other procedures because he is very thorough and meticulous. I chose Dr. Motakis based on his all 5 star ratings and after being a patient of his I know why he gets nothing but 5 stars. He is simply AMAZING, gentle, humble, honest and takes exceptional care of his patients. Trust me, you will be in good hands!
There's no better than Dr. Motakis. He's done my botox/fillers for years so I trusted him implicitly with the surgery. He never goes too far and always keeps it very natural looking. People tell me I never age and that's because of Dr. Motakis. On top of that he's a very kind, lovely person who loves what he does and it shows. Huge gratitude for Dr. Motakis, he'll be my doctor as long as he'll have me.
Doctor Motakis is the most wonderful caring cosmetic surgeon I have ever met. He truly loves what he does, and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He is so honest about outcomes and what to expect and takes the time to explain everything to you. No dumb questions as far as this doctor is concerned.I am in my mid 50's and after 2 cesarian sections and several other abdominal surgeries, plus some weight gain due to menopause, my stomach had scars all over with multiple flaps of fat hanging over the scars. Even at my goal weight it was difficult to wear jeans as one of the flaps over a scar made me look like I had a huge camel toe.I am so happy that I had this surgery as it has changed my life and I can now wear jeans and I feel so confident. I was so happy when he ask if I would be willing to share my before and after pics and of course I said yes. Check out the tummy tuck before and afters and see for yourself the artistry of the wonderful Doctor!
Swelling and bruising after rhinoplasty lasts for about 1-2 weeks. During the first few days patients may experience a pressure like feeling around their nose and have some congestion. Pain is minimal. The nasal cast, when present, comes off at the first post-operative appointment, one week after surgery. In cases where I perform closed preservation rhinoplasty, recovery is on average 50% faster. Most patients resume their social activities and work in 2 weeks and return back to light exercise in 3-4 weeks. Contact sports can be resumed 6-8 weeks after surgery. Although most of the swelling disappears during the first month, the finer structural definition of the nose may take up to a year to become apparent.
Recovery from any surgery is individual so I always inform patients that the timelines given represent averages, based on the majority of my patients. Certain patients recover faster, while other take a bit longer. Having multiple procedures at the same time such as eyelid surgery or fat grafting can definitely increase bruising and swelling. On average, with a deep plane facelift, swelling peeks at three days and starts coming down days 5-7. At one week, the swelling is at least 50% better. In my patients the stitches around the ears are internal and usually there are no sutures to remove. The one week visit is only a check up. At the end of the second week most of the swelling and any bruising is gone and make up can be applied. With their hair down, most women are able to start making social appearances. In order to minimize the appearance of the healing incisions I advise men to grow their facial hair if possible. Patients find that lymphatic drainage massages staring at 2 weeks after surgery help expedite recovery and eliminate any residual swelling or stiffness they may feel. I hope this helps.
From you pictures you appear a good candidate for a tummy tuck. That is the only way to achieve a flat abdomen. It is possible that you will end up with a small vertical scar, but that usually ends up fading away, and also very often it ends up being hidden by the underwear/bikini.
A breast augmentation alone can definitely help lift the nipple. However, the amount of lift may be inadequate and a breast lift may be necessary in order to reposition the nipple at the center of the breast mount. In your case the amount of ptosis (droopiness) appears to be minimal. I would recommend a breast augmentation with a peri-areolar lift. This procedure allows small amount of lift, the incision is just around the areola and would optimize the breast augmentation result.
A breast lift alone would reduce the size of your areola and give you an improved breast shape. However, the only downside of not having an implant is possibly the lack of fullness at the upper aspect of the breast (upper breast pole). Many women are ok with a more natural tear drop breast that is perky and are happy with just a lift. I hope this helps.
