Neck lift/ SMAS with platysmaplasty

I look incomparable with how I looked before surgery. I look natural and I have no platysma bands!! There are still a few things that I’m waiting to heal though : Some skin that I see under my chin, a little bit pulling of the right corner of my mouth, a little bit fat under jaws but nothing major. These pictures are taken very close and show a lot . When I look in the mirror I don’t really see all these . However, Dr Harris assures me that he will take care of any touch up that I need after 1 year. Bottom line: I look very good, much younger, natural ( I don’t have that plastic surgery look at all) , scars are gone like they were never there, platysma bands are history, and every time i needed to ask something I got an answer right away from my doctor and his team. If I would have to go back in time having the option to change my PS I wouldn’t ! I would go to Dr Harris again. This is how I feel right now, 9 months post surgery!

I AM 90% HAPPY JUST BECAUSE IM STILL HEALING! I AM FINALLY SEEING RESULTS , EVERYTHING LOOKS MORE SETTLED!
LEFT SIDE ITS STILL SWOLLEN A LITTLE AND SKIN IS STILL PULLING A LITTLE IN THE MIDDLE WHEN I LOOK UP AND REALLY STRECH MY NECK ,
BUT I HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR STEROIDS IN A WEEK OR SO FOR THIS REASON.
FRIENDS, REMEMBER: STEROIDS DO MAGIC!!! I HAD IT DONE ( in small amounts) 2 TIMES AND I SAW THE DIFFERENCE WITHIN MINUTES! WHAT MONTHS ( as time) DO IN HEALING , STEROIDS DO IN MINUTES!
MY JAWS AT THIS STAGE LOOK GOOD,
MY NECK LOOKS GOOD, I CAN LOOK DOWN AT MY PHONE WITH CONFIDENCE, i CAN WEAR A NECKLACE WITHOUT WORRYING , I CAN TURN MY HEAD WITH CONFIDENCE THAT THERE ARE NO PLATYSMA BANDS ANYMORE,
NO SCARS SHOWING, I HAVE A VERY NATURAL LOOK ! I AM ME IMPROVED AND LOOKING MUCH BETTER AND YOUNGER.
I’M STILL HEALING THOUGH,I STILL HAVE SOME SWELLING UNDER THE JAWS BUT NOT NOTICEABLE TO PEOPLE AROUND ! SO I SAY WHAT I SAID SO MANY TIMES BEFORE IN MY REVIEW UPDATES: PATIENCE IS IMPORTANT AND THERE IS SO MUCH CHANGE DURING THE HEALING , SO MANY UPS AND DOWNS, SO MANY MIXED FEELINGS and INSECURITIES THIS KIND OF SURGERY BRINGS BUT THE KEY IS TIME AND PATIENCE.
THERE IS NO WAY ONE CAN SEE FINAL RESULTS BEFORE AT LEAST I WOULD SAY 8 MONTHS IF NOT 1 YEAR .
IF I WOULD GO BACK IN TIME TO CHOOSE A TRUSTED PLASTIC SURGEON, I WOULD GO TO THE SAME PLASTIC SURGEON- DR HARRIS ! YES, I’M VERY SURE AND HAPPY To SAY THIS!

I just came back from my appointment, I had a hard lump under my chin, lumps and bumps that my doctor told me they are normal scar tissue and will go away as I heal. I got a few needles of steroids under my chin in these bumps and in minutes they started to disappear.
I do trust my plastic surgeon! He’s an honest person and I believe what he tells me! Yes, I’ve been through a lots of ups and downs in these 5 months and maybe I was a little ‘salty’ at times but the reality is that healing from this kind of surgery takes time and lots of patience and understanding.
Also, reading all kind of stories in this app wasn’t helping ,it actually made it worse because there is lots of fake reviews and comments so be aware of that people or you will end up stressing about things that do not exist. Don’t expect magic in a few months because of these reviews and comments.
My Conclusion Today: these lumps will disappear, everything will transform as how I wanted, and this is what my doctor told me.
I see that Steroids are Awesome in speeding the healing and helping with scar tissue.
And even at this stage , my neck looks so so so much better , I can wear my hair up , and It shows no platysma bands or lose skin. Well , I trust my doctor. “If” I will not be totally happy after all he will do a small revision for me to make it perfect, and who knows maybe this is actually the trick:: a small touch up after al makes it perfect.
