I am very happy so far with my lower face lift and lower Blepharoplasty. No more turkey neck or eye bags. Pretty much all healed up except some scabs still behind ears. Have some swelling, numbness and hard spots in front of ears still. I hope that will disappear with time. Dr Harley and his team have been great!! Here are some better before pictures and after pictures.

One week out
No pain at all at this point. Just some tightness around cheeks and ears. Still some swelling, some scabbing around ears and under chin but healing nicely. Still eating blueberries and pineapple everyday.

Its difficult to see your neck with your phone in the photo. Try reversing the camera screen and taking a photo if you can. Did you have more than a neck and lower face lift?
I will ad some more photos, in second picture you can see a much improved jaw line, Dr Harley is a expert at lower face lifts.
Hi, I cant tell the improvement base on your pictures but as long as you are satisfied with the results is what it counts. was able to get an appointment via telephone call with Dr Harley, I would like to consider him for surgery but I want to make sure he pulls my neck and face and so I can see improvement. I also want to make sure the surgery last for a couple of years.
I will send some better pictures, if I can figure it out. My jowls and turkey neck are gone
Thanks for the pictures, now I can see how good you look. Thanks for posting, I will be having a phone consultation with Dr. Harley at the end of this month. I am ready to do it, I'm just a little worry about travel. No scars in the front of the ears right? Where does he leaves the scars?
No the scars are gone. I healed very well. Hardly no bruises at all. Start taking arnica and eat blueberries and fresh pineapple 2 weeks before surgery also continue after surgery and drink protein shakes as it helps in healing. How far are you traveling from?
My scars are around ears and hairline above ears also chin.

Good, I'm glad they are gone, I need to lift my neck too. I need to book a hotel near his office, do you know the area well? I don't want to spend too much money as I need to book a flight an a car. Let me know if you can recommend where to stay. Thanks

I think so but I prefer to stay for few days . I was hoping for my daughter to remove the stiches on the 7th day (she is a nurse) in that way I don't have stay too long as I have a couple of dogs and don't want to leave them for long..
I have my appointment schedule for March. I am debating whether to have a lower blepharoplasty as well, as I am kind of scared about permanent changes in my eyes. I am interested in knowing more about your experience with your lower bleph in terms of pain, post-op, and results. How are you feeling now, less than a month after the procedures?

For my it wasn't that bad at all. Slept like a baby night of surgery. I don't even remember anything till 7 30 night of surgery. My husband took good care of me. The worst part for me was sleeping on my back. Not much pain just tightness. Eyes were a little sore. I did have under eye stitches. No more bags though. I am 4 weeks out and still have a little redness where stitches were but with concealer you can't see it. I did put some better pictures on site. I am glad I had it done. Good luck to you !! You look great thanks for posting pictures I have a surgery coming up feeling nervous seeing good results puts me at ease. Did u stay the whole week? Don’t think I’ll be able to stay that long but worried about getting stitches removed also debating if I should fly or drive I’m in Ca so It will be along drive.
Hi, We drove it's only 4 hour drive for us. Went back up in a week for stitches out. My husband went with me. I didn't feel comfortable driving for about 2 weeks because your neck is stiff for awhile so it's hard to turn your head. If I were you I would fly and stay until stitches are out. Good luck to you!!
Hi luigi1 did you ever go to dr Harley? I live in CA too... and wonder if I should travel to NC. Been trying to get in touch with them but have been unable to. Tried thru RS and thru his website for about a month now...

Can't figure how to post after picture
I was just thinking that RealSelf ought to have a feature that has one specific button for before and one for after and the ability to see the side by side of each.
