Office review: beware

Well, I debated on posting this but they have left me no choice. I scheduled a surgery with Dr. Paine in Beckley and had to cancel because my liver enzyme was slightly elevated. Did he call to speak to me or his nurse call to tell me this? No, the girl ? Danielle that makes appointments called to tell me this. They disclosed my confidential medical information to the appointment lady! I told her my concerns and she said we can refer you to a liver specialist. After a week Dr. Paine called and said (he) feels it’s fine to have the surgery. Well, I told him until I lower my enzymes I wasn’t comfortable having the surgery.

I wanted to cancel my surgery. Then I receive a call the following week and the consultation lady ?Ashley proceeded to tell me if I canceled they have a policy in place they keep 50% of my money (2555.75) but they’d credit it to there spa to use so, I wouldn’t lose it really. That they’d mail me a check for 2555.75 and 700.00 anesthesia ?would go back on my credit card?. I tried to explain to her (Ashley)that I wasn’t just canceling to cancel! This was considered that incidental find in my blood work and I wasn’t comfortable having anesthesia and moving forward?!

However, by the end of the conversation I accepted their terms so there’s no conflict! But after the way they have treated me I don’t want to go to their spa!

I don’t want anything to do with them!

(I called Monday and today) the consultation lady Ashley won’t take my call or call me back AGAIN!

I want my 5811.75 back! They had no concerns for my health or my feelings just wanted my money and to be done.

I would have accepted the initial agreement but now they won’t take my calls and I’ve received NO money back! It’s been over 3 weeks. I guess I’m hiring an attorney to get this settled. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

Not to mention they wouldn’t even provide photos for me to look at! First red flag!

I should have walked when they said that!

What kind of surgeon doesn’t have photos!
