Today was the day. 5pm. The nurse called me at work and told me they were working ahead of schedule and wanted me there at 430. Hoped in the car and headed to my PS office. *2 Hrs away (Dr Hamel). When we were about 30 minutes away I received a call from a staff member telling me they had to reschedule me. I was furious at this point because today was the start of a 2 week leave from work for me. I asked her if there was anything they could do about the inconvenience. I was then transferred to the office manager who basically told me they could not get me in until Friday. She explained that they had several issues come up including a delay in breast implants that caused a delay in 2 surgeries. The service quickly turned south until my husband spoke to her and explained that from a customer service standpoint, this was bad business as she refused to let us speak with the MD. She did mention that this has never happened before . She finally said she will speak with him and return my call... I txtd her around 7pm and asked for a status. She text and told me that the doctor said he cannot discount me for the trip or time loss and to find another physician if its an issue...I agreed to take Friday since it is still a good rate and I know he does good work. I've referred 4 coworkers for services so I hope this does not happen Friday. I'll get my money back...
