Natural-Looking Rhinoplasty Results So Far – 2.5 Months Post-Op
WORTH IT
I am 2.5 months post-op. My dorsal hump was removed, and my tip was lifted and refined by Dr. B.
I did not feel pressured into anything during the consultation, either by the surgeon or his staff. The surgery experience itself was great. I chose twilight anesthesia, which Dr. B also preferred. I could hear the surgical team during the procedure, but I felt no stress and no pain.
After surgery, I had significant bruising and swelling on my face and cheeks, extending down to my neck, but it resolved fairly quickly. Some swelling under my eyes still remains, but I understand recovery is very individual.
So far, aesthetically, my results look very nice. My nose already looks cute and natural. I am still having a bit of difficulty breathing, but I understand this is pretty normal since I still have internal swelling, and Dr. B was not concerned at my checkup. There is also some slight asymmetry in my nostrils and infratip, which I hope will improve as the swelling continues to go down.
I understand that the final results will continue to change over the next year, or even years, and I hope they stay close to where I am now. We will see in a few years, but so far Dr. B nailed the shape and proportions, and the result looks very close to the mock-up photos.
