Natural Rhinoplasty Result

For the longest time, I wanted a nose job. It was a facial feature that consistently bothered me yet I didn't have the confidence to commit to surgery. I'd seen my sister get the procedure when she was 16, and she looked horrible in the weeks that followed. It's safe to say, I was terrified to do the same. Years went by and I came to terms with what I truly wanted, especially with my wedding on the horizon. I "shopped" for plastic surgeons across the Chicagoland area, having conducted consultations with 3 of the "top, most reputable" ones downtown. The first two were very flashy. Their offices were sleek and sexy but the consultations felt fake, overdone, and rather pushy. I didn't feel entirely comfortable with either one, especially considering the dollar amount attached to the commitment. When I met with Dr. Mustoe, I first noticed his office felt more like a doctor's office than a medical salon. This left a positive impression on me. After that, when I actually met with him, he took extensive time explaining the procedure, showing me photos, and soothing concerns around pain. I was convinced that IF I was going to do the procedure, he'd be the one to do it. Afterward, I read his reviews, researched the procedure, and ultimately decided to proceed. He was able to do my surgery in one month's time and get me healed before my wedding the following year. The day of surgery, I couldn't have been more nervous. I was in a complete panic to go into a surgery I didn't "need". Dr. Mustoe was helpful in calming me down and assuring me that it'd be an easy experience. He was not wrong. I felt fabulous coming out of the surgery. Of course, I was a bit loopy but it was seemingly quick and I was out of there within hours. The days that followed, I couldn't believe how great I felt. At no point did I really bruise. I never took pain medication. Yes, I was wearing a cast, but I had no issue going out in public. He didn't pack my nose for healing, as some other surgeons do. And the drainage / blood stopped after 2 days. In the months that followed, it was winter so I had a little more runniness than normal but that eventually stopped. I didn't experience any follow-on pain nor discomfort. My breathing activity was completely unbothered. All that had changed was my love and confidence in my nose. I love taking photos from the side angle. I love telling people I got a nose job and they're shocked given just how natural it looks. It doesn't look overdone, plastic nor fake. It looks like the nose I was meant to have from the beginning. In short, if you're going to do a rhinoplasty and desire a more natural look, Dr. Mustoe is the right choice. I have renewed confidence in my face and feel that it was worth every penny. In fact, in my most recent post-op appointment, I told him "I wish I had done it sooner!"
