Natural Looking Lip Lift

My upper lip used to disappear when I smiled. I also had a weird crease between my nose and lip, that is now gone. As I said in my review, the lip lift was very subtle on me. It just lifted and made my Cupid’s points look cute.

I am absolutely in love with my lip lift! It's very subtle but gives just the right amount of pout and sexiness to my naturally very thin lips.
I did rhinoplasty, eyelids and a chin implant with Dr.R four months ago. He wanted to let the rhinoplasty heal before doing the lip lift. See previous review for that surgery.
I must say of all the procedures I did with Dr.R I was most excited for the lip lift. We reversed my lip filler in November to prepare for surgery. The original plan was to do the lip with the other procedures. I was a little disappointed when he said he wanted to wait until after. I was sad that we had already dissolved my lips!! It was very hard for me to go 6 months with zero lip filler.
My lip lift was done in the office under local numbing. The numbing took longer than the actual procedure. Once I was numb I couldn't feel a thing. The actual procedure only took about 20-30 minutes. I was a little nervous being awake but Dr.R and his staff are very caring and reassuring. I was swollen leaving the office but not nearly as much as I thought I would be. I put my mask on and caught a flight home later that afternoon. That evening I had a horrible headache, but thats all the pain I felt. I only needed to take one pain pill. Tylenol was enough to manage the mild pain.
I am currently 6 weeks post lip lift and a I am very pleased with the healing process. It's still a little red in the incision area, but not noticeable. I am confident it will heal almost invisible. Dr.R was very honest about the lip lift explaining that I would be left with a faint scar. I really respect him for being honest about that. The scar was my only concern. This procedure and healing process far exceeded my expectations!! I thought the scar would be more visible. My lip movement and smile all look very natural and its still so soon. It feels a little stiff, but doesn't look it. I posted a ton of photos because I am so pleased. I also wanted you to see the results from different angles. I was in the office last week for my follow up. I had planned to get lip filler but the doctor said I didn't need it and advised that I wait a little longer as I still have swelling in the upper lip area. I can still see that the upper lip area is slightly swollen. You can see it in my profile photos. I'll look forward to my June appointment to get just a touch of filler. I will definitely not go back to over filling them like I used to, but I feel like a half to a full syringe will help balance out my bottom lip and give me that pouter look I like.
I am so happy with my lip lift! It really brought my look together. I'm so happy with all the procedures I did with Dr.R. I can really see the rhinoplasty results coming out as the swelling goes down.
