WORTH IT$7,375
1 month post op! My PS released me to full activity after 4 weeks. Started back to light weight lifting just working on biceps/triceps and more running/walking. My right one is still riding slightly higher and does still look slightly swollen, lefty looks good. He said I can go without wearing a bra when I'm at home which I've been trying to do more- although feels slightly uncomfortable not having anything besides a t shirt on. He said I could go back to swimming if needed but I'll wait on that since I'm not going to be doing any watersports any time soon.
I would usually wear a wetsuit to go wake surfing this time of the year but going to wait several more weeks before getting towed behind a boat - probably wait another 3-4 months.
I'll start scar cream biocorneum tomorrow or Monday once my tape loosens up and is ready to come off.

Can I ask what cup size you were prior to surgery and where you are now? I'm also a petite athletic build, 5'2" 110lb, and looking for smaller natural looking implants. My PS is recommending 300/325cc but in sizers I feel like it's taking me from an A to a full C/small D. I didnt try any anatomical sizers, but I know he said it's a good option for me. I'm not sure how to compare form stable cc to smooth round gel cc... do you think it's similar?? I'm also in the CLT area, booked my BA for next month!
Hi! I was a 34 A and was wanting to go to a C cup. I'm wearing a full 34 C now, but they are still softening up. I'm usually still wearing my surgical bra or sports bra for comfort. I'm very happy with how they look so far and being petite I'm so glad I didn't go with the 360cc. are you going submuscular? I think you'll be happy with the 325cc range especially if you do submuscle you lose about 25 cc. Who is your PS? I'm so excited for you!
Thanks! Yes, going submuscular, but was hoping to end up a full B, not sure if over 300cc will be too much or if it will seem smaller once under the muscle and recovered. I feel like the sizers looked so big and saggy, but I know the sports bra they gave was too loose to really hold them in. I'm going to Piedmont Plastic Surgery & Derm (Gastonia), I'm down towards just over the state line in SC. He was great and was definitely conservative, it was during sizing with the staff they recommended the size. Glad to hear you had a success story!! You look amazing!
Thank you! I thought the sizers made me look to big and baggy as well! 300 cc's will def get up to a full B/small C. The gel is definitely much softer but I went with the highly cohesive in the rare case of a rupture - I didn't want silicone leaking into the surrounding tissues. Also the gummy seems like it can take a lot more impact and less likely to rupture or cause capsular contracture. They aren't as soft as the gel but my PS says that they will be softer than saline implants.
Your results look wonderful! I'm also having anatomicals with the highly cohesive gel put in soon (surgery is next week). Like you, I don't want to go too big but a little tissue would be nice! My surgeon has ordered the 295 and the 335cc's and will decide on the day which is best. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
That pink bra looks so comfy! May I ask what brand and style?
Hi, My story is almost identical to yours (except I had a mastopexy as well). I was initially disappointed with my 365CC anatomical gummy bear implants (submuscular) but, a few months after, I am over the moon with the size I feel so feminine to finally have 34D breasts that give me a nice shape. The beauty is that I can still fit into my old clothes but know now that it is not padded bra anymore that is filling me out and others dont even know Ive had surgery. I did find that when I pull an overhead weight down, the muscle makes the implant jump a bit (as this is holding it) and I felt like something was going to tear. Go slow with the wake boarding if it will pull on them. You doctor did an awesome job.

2.5 weeks post op

Will be 3 weeks this Friday since my surgery. Feeling great, been working out - walking few miles every day and playing around on the balance board. The lighting in our gym casts a little shadow and not the best at taking selfies.... but very happy with the way my chest looks (currently wearing VS non padded sports bra). I never had anything close to having cleavage before.

Most challenging issues I've dealt with so far is soreness after lifting my son who is almost 2 years old. He had the flu the past 2-3 days and requiring A LOT of carrying around (understandably so).

Recovery going well post op day 14 now. Went back to work 5 days post op - was a little sore going back to work but didn't require much besides Tylenol/ibuprofen. Not on any medications now besides Singulair.
Wearing compression band as much as possible currently to help my implants settle into place. Overall, looks great so far and extremely happy with the results.
I was reluctant at first to having augmentation done since I had never had any surgeries before. After having breastfed 2 kids, youngest now 22 months, and done having kids I got my body back into shape -very active lifestyle outdoors with water sports/swimming- wasn't too happy with my small breasts 34 A, especially when I live in bikinis all spring/summer living on a lake.
Finally bit the bullet and made the decision to have them done this past January. Timing worked out great, with it being winter in NC.
Since I'm very active outside of the office and in a bathing suit a lot, with my petite build I asked my PS if I should go with the anatomical implants. Honestly I did want to look enhanced but I wasn't going for super enhanced "oh she definitely had something done look." He/we decided that anatomical implants would be the best way to go for my frame.
I also have several friends that live on the lake and knew they'd be staring at my new chest too so was shooting for more subtle, natural look. Very happy that I got the natrelle 410 shaped implants, 320 cc's, submuscular. Can't wait for Spring and to be out on the water again!
Was definitely a positive/happy person pre op, with amazing kids, supportive husband, awesome job, family and friends... and now even happier with my body looking more proportional and feeling complete. Definitely keeping the lights on ;)

Congratulations on your surgery! It sounds like you chose the perfect sized implants for your active lifestyle. Did you share your surgery with any of your friends or coworkers? Is the Singular post op to help prevent capsular contracture? Can't wait to hear how your swimsuits fit!

Thanks Beth! No, I did not share my surgery with any coworkers since I'm a physician myself in the community and only one of my friends locally knows I had any surgery done (besides my immediate family.) It's tough not telling anyone locally so that's why I'm on here for some support. But I will be referring them to my plastic surgeon if my coworker(s) needs to see one!

Yes, the singulair is to try and help prevent capsular contracture usually recommended to take post op daily for 2-3 months depending on the surgeon.

Very excited about trying on swimsuits soon!

Oh I bet it's hard not to share your excitement!
