The wound scar is truly looking good.
Thank you and it hardly hurts at all. My doc is awesome
Did u have any trouble with necrosis? That's one of my fears of being cut vertical also
No I didn't. I haven't had any problems minus a little pain from where my drain was. And I was cut all the way up to the top of my Woodstock tat
That's awesome I hope I follow in your footsteps and have no trouble. Is there any advice u can give me that u think helped u during your recovery?
Just stay off your feet and relax take your meds. I also had a pain pump for the first 3 days so that helped me a lot. I wore my binder for 6 weeks straight and then after that at night along with a compression garment
Ok I worry my binder is too tight that it will cut off corculation. I had three c- sections. But I don't remember the binder being so dam tight. I have been taking antibiotics and muscle relaxer. I was taking Percocet but I stopped taking it now just taking extra strength Tylenol instead. Did I ask you already how long were u off work?
It's tight because of the swelling. And you can adjust it if it's to tight for you. I've had 4 cections and only was given a binder after my first one. I was off 30 days and then just took it easy. I'm in the army and I'm a truck mechanic
That's the thing it sucks the binder they gave me barely closes . The Velcro barely reaches I do t know why they gave me this one. I had a binder after my first also then they didn't give me one for my others. That's funny that they didn't .
Wow get ahold of your doc and tell them it doesn't fit. Maybe they can get you another one.

Been a while

So I know it's been a minute since I posted last on here. I just had a small scar revision. On an area that I was hoping would stay flat with the tummy tuck and pulling the skin together. But it didn't and mind you I've had these scars since a few weeks after birth. Healing wonderful still and scars are becoming lighter and softer to the touch.

You look great!!
Thank you I feel great.
That's awesome. My journey has been rough but getting so much better. ♡ I'm 16 post op. Thought I would have been ready to go back to work yesterday but boy was I wrong!
Why are you going back to work so soon. I took 30 days off so I could heal properly
I convinced myself I would be ok to go back in 2 weeks. All the reading I did also made it seem like 2 weeks would be enough to be able to work if you have desk job. Even on here. But everyone heals differently. I'm thinking 4 weeks for me. I will see how next week goes.
Yes it's even painful to sit-up a straight. I would wait a few more weeks if i was you.

3 months 1 day since surgery

The pics were taken on July 30th. Scars are almost non existent in some spots and very thin. I'm extremely happy with everything. Only thing is still bothersom is the site were the drain tube was placed it still hurts to touch it or when jogging

Your scars look great, anything you put on them?
