I was up to 265 at the heaviest I knew of, I could have been bigger and to ashamed to weigh. Eventually I started eating healthy and working out. I really enjoyed running and even did a full marathon 26.2 miles. I was a double D when I was big girl and they disappeared. I really wanted my boobs back. When I was down to 175 I went in for a consultation for implants. I did all the research looking at so many profiles from this site and knew exactly what kind and size I wanted. The doctor left me with lots of advise. He suggested a clip job for my husband, to get me off hormones. He recommended for me to finish losing weight and get down to 140. Then he thought my boobs looked good enough and a tummy tuck would do my body so much better. I left with estimates but was confused with what I wanted. Life got busy. I got married and bought a house couldn't afford surgery but continued to try to lose weight and tighten up. It's been three years and I've maintained 165-170 on the scale. I feel comfortable with my eating habits and exercise routine but I still want my ready to look and fill full. Plus I constantly imagine what my stomach would look like without the extra skin. A friend recently got new boobs and Im mad jealous. Her surgery center is offering a great deal on a consultation so I'm going in just a couple weeks. I'm excited to hear what they will be able to do for my shape. I'll post my weight loss pictures next. Nervous but excited.

Congratulations on your weight loss, and for maintaining a healthy weight. I wish the industry had a different name for this surgery, there are many, many members like you who aren't moms and have been through a similar experience. I hope you find all the support you need here. If you're getting consultations, you might want to take a look at this post from our forum: 30 Questions to Ask Prospective Surgeons at Your Mommy Makeover Consultations.

Had surgery with a tummy tuck and breast augmentation with saline implants. I was terrified to get an IV and be put to sleep. Turns out those were the easiest parts. My mom came over in the morning and we drove to the surgery center and I had forgotten my wallet, with my insurance card and money to pay the anesthesiologist and surgery center. My husband drove and met my mom outside while I was getting prepped. I paid and the party got started. The IV and going to sleep was easy, they could tell I was anxious and gave me something to relax me, it worked. I woke up and was brought home. Friday night was fine and I tried to do to much cause I wasn't hurting to bad. But Saturday my right boob started swelling and getting bigger and bigger and hurting more and more. The doctor met me at her office after hours and said I had a hematoma. She made some calls and directed us to an emergency room. I had a second surgery that night. I'll finish later. Too tired now
