6 week update

I did not think I would love my body again as much as I do now. Super natural results. I feel myself again! It's the best decision I have ever made for myself. I'm also very happy Dr. Haws convinced me to go with 275cc instead of 255cc. The 275 is perfect and for my body and fits so well. Small difference in size but I'm happy. No one can tell I've had a BA. With the mini TT my stomach is very flat and is still healing. I have slight unevenness which is expected this early on due to the muscle repair, sutures and lipo and still some swelling. I've read a lot on RS of it being common and will subside within a few months. I have been doing Infared sauna and that definitely been making it go down a lot.

Waiting to See Results but How my Surgery Went...

Surgery went great! Dr. Haws is awesome! But I must be honest. I have been on real self reading a lot of your stories for over a year now and have a lot friends that did the same procedure and I personally feel like I was overlooked throughout this process. My surgery was scheduled for Friday 12:00pm but I was asked to be there 2 hours earlier (I arrived at 9:45am). I sat the whole 2 hours in the waiting room filled with tons of people. My nerves were so bad I kept coughing and dry heaving. I finally got put into vitals and a bed then was seen by Dr. Haws and she went over everything with me and confirmed my implant size. I got my anesthesia then next thing I know I was in recovery. The staff at St. Thomas we're so so so sweet! I was sent home and that was it. No one called me to check on me the whole weekend. When all you have to do is lay in bed all day you end up with tons of questions, but was left fumbling through paperwork and searching on real self.

I finally decided to contact the nurse Lynn from the center (who was not at my surgery) she was able to give me some solid answers very quickly. She was great!

Another frustrating part was they didn't give me a surgical bra however I did purchase my own from Amazon but it was too tight and painful around the incisions. So that was a waste. She told me to use a sports bra but I really don't want to stretch my muscles over my head.

I have yet to see full results as I am in the healing stage. But I do know I didn't have the same extra TLC experience my friends had, as they told me their doctor called them personally or at least a nurse. But I will not discredit her artistry or how fabulous she was the times that I was with her, just a little bummed about the lack of communication before and after the surgery. I also wanted to add an additional procedure- my belly button to be fixed from an old piercing (another doc said it would have only taken a few minutes to stitch it up). I asked about it several weeks before my surgery day but no one got back to me about that.

So far I have had a consultation and pre-op...

So far I have had a consultation and pre-op appointment with Dr. Haws. I'm schedule for suregery June 16th. I will update my review with overall surgery experience and final results. My experience so far, was great with her. She's beautiful and super knowledgable, with understanding a womans body from a "womans" perspective. She's not the kind of doctor that will sell you anything just for your money. She was my 7th doctor I consulted with, YES SEVEN (Nashville and LA) and it was something very unique that stood out about her. I really look forward to working with her. In addition her staff is very friendly and compassionate. Not the fake kind of friendly like (yeah yeah give me your $ and bye). Having surgey is a major deal physically and emotionally and I think they understand that. I am a very "I want to know and please make this clear to me kind of person" I will ask tons of questions most won't, and I never felt like I was brushed off with any of my questions. I really appreciate this gem of a doctor right here in Nashville.

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
1915 State St., Nashville, Tennessee

Personable, transparent and straight forward. I think that, that is very valuable in the plastic surgery world. I have experienced most doctors will just agree and nod their head with what ever you ask for without giving you pros and cons or (their opinion) which is extremely important.
