Extremely new to this sort of thing but u think i need to do this not only for myself but also for others in my position. I am not doing this in order to be in compliance with army standards as i am good there. I am doing it to feel complete as a woman physically. I am nervous but i feel okay.

I thinkni am ready yall! I completed my preop last week. (Its a long but helpful process). Everything from the pics in the office to the mammogram and th4 hospital visit was taken care of by Dr. Robbins staff. They are all so polite and friendly. They make you feel at home. During the preop at his iffice the nurse was very thorough for care during and after surgery. She answered a lot of questions for me. Ive decided to go with the gummy bear implants. I honestly cant believe this is going to happen... scared but excited

You look great! I'm getting about the same as you got done, in a little over a week!! How are you feeling?
February 20, 2017
Im feeling pretty good to be honest. I have more issues with trying to sit still more than anything. My swelling isnt as bad as some people make it seem. I swear a lot of pics and stories on here will scare you but i just prayed on it and i went in and i came out in a blink of an eye. I went for my six day po and everything went well. I didnt need a walker or anything. I am still sleeping in my recliner and drinking a lot of fluids. I have about a week left before i get back to work. Dont worry. Eat the right things, drink the right things, and take care of your body. Do you have a list of things needed? If you need one let me know

I would love a list if you have one! Yes, the stories on here can be a bit scary. The sitting still thing is going to be hard for me too because I'm a very active person and the heart of the family when it comes to the kids and everything. What are you eating during recovery?
February 23, 2017
I am currently at day 12 and im feeling ok. I eat a lot of fruit and i drink special k protein shakes. I also eat with my two year old he has been my recliner buddy so far. Some.of the things that i made sure to have prior but i didnt use until after are:
Tylenol extra strength
Ace bandages (*2)
Bromeline
Arnica
Antibacterial wash. Iused it three days prior and i still use it now just because it was a big bottle
Pineapple juice
Gatorade
Extra pillows if you dont have them handy
A pee funnel if it hurts to sit
Stool softeners ( start taking them almost a week out because OMG that first BM was a b word)
An extra pair of spanx( for when you need to wash your garment)
Chap stick (mynlips were super dry)
Neosporen ( not really needed but as the tape begain to fall off around my scara i used it...out of habit i guess. It didnt hurt with my c sections)
Extra guaze
Big panties like two or three sizes bigger ( they are more comfortable)
By several sizes of front open sports bras if you are getting a BA/BL)
