If you followed my original facelift review, you saw I had a few tweaks that I was not happy with - but for the most part it was great! You would have also known I had a rather painful recovery.
Anyway, Dr. Moore fixedme up yesterday, and appears to have went well. Not near as bad as the first time. Photo is day after with bandages removed.

Did you ask him why he cut forward of your ears - actually on your cheek bone? I've never seen that done. You look lovely but what if you had wanted to wear your hair up or back in a ponytail?

No I didn't, it has been so long ago I have forgotten a lot. I still wear my hair back on one side, and I don't think anyone would notice if I wore it in a ponytail, but I guess I don't worry about that too much any more. Lol

Also, there was a pucker there and maybe why he felt the need to cut that far out.

Revision Day three
classic1956July 17, 2015
Well I hope things are going to even out in a day or two. Left side of mouth looks a little more stretched. Still quite a bit of swelling, but no bruising yet. Stitches don't come out until Tuesday. I thin by then I will probably feel like being seen in public again. The two brown patches are two small moles that Dr. Moore removed while he was doing the revisions.
Lots of stitches in front of ears and hairline. Dr. used oral dose of Ativan/Zofran and I can't remember a thng past the examining room, I assume there was a lot of numbing shots once we got into the surgical chair. Nothing near the pain that I had with the original facelift, of course, but I did have some discomfort like most everyone else I have read about.

Thanks, been a while since I looked at this - I look ok I guess. But don't really feel like I look like myself anymore. The revision was Nothing as bad as the original surgery.

My neck had a little pouch of fat that was fuller on one side under my chin than the other. I am one year out from my revision and look ok. But I am still overweight and expect that my face will continue to fall because of it. If I ever succeed in losing the weight I will need to have another revision to tighten the loose skin. I will try to attach a current photo.

You look lovely . I'm just after 4 months smas face and neck . I'm really unhappy with my neck . I only had moderate loose neck and I actually feel it's not improved at all . I had terrible swelling and I think it over stretched the skin as it was really bad for about 4 weeks . I'm back at the 6 month point to see what the surgo says and if he can correct it . It's quite devestating after going through such a hard procedure
Can you tell me why you had a revision and what do you think?

There was a pucker on one side which I don't remember now. One side of neck under my chin was looser than the other one. There are still things I am not thrilled with - I feel it has fallen some already, but my fault for gaining weight causing it to pull down I guess. Dr Moore will do as many revisions as needed, but recovery time is an issue, and hubby says leave well enough alone. Over stretched may be better because it always loosens. My dr was conservative and I already see drooping.
Thanks for sharing! Were you just under local anesthesia for this fix ups?
