Birthday #37 Gift. My consultation was amazing. Dr. MARVEL in Nashville TN. He was through and truly made me feel important. Allowed me to try didn't sizes to be certain. Explained which implant would be best fitted for my body and current breast. I will go into surgery at 1 pm Wednesday, December 2. I am nervous about after care for myself and my cat. My boyfriend wants to take care of me but no one can take care of you like momma. I am attempting to prepare meals ahead. I appreciate all the comments on the website it's helping me mentally prepare to be in some pain! ; ( I've never had surgery so it's all going to be an experrience.

Day 1 post op. Woke up in the am and very painful making my way to the restroom. I think my medicine wore off during the night. It's mid afternoon now and I've been up and down some. I'm making sure that I take my medicine on time. I feel tight. The incision under the right breast is the most sensitive point. I'm keeping ice packs on continually and it's my saving grace.

Dr. Marvel did my surgery the same day at noon. You probably had to wait on me to be released. I have had minimal pain. The tightness has eased up today. And I think they have dropped a little. It doesn't feel like they are right up under my chin anymore. Good luck, hope your recovery continues to go well.

Day #3 post op BA
Hi ladies, whew Day 3 is nearly in the books for me post BA. I managed to only use 2 pain pills today! I still had to ice most of the day though. I started having some shooting pain sensation in one side. My augmentation was inserted in the fold underneath. It's my biggest complaint. It feels like it is pulling and no matter what, it hurts. I have been wearing my surgical sport bra since surgery Wednesday afternoon as instructed. I'm sure it's the incision healing process but I wish I could remove the bra from the area. My skin is extremely tight, I have little to no sensation in my nipples and my muscle in my back, is really sore today as well. Wishful thinking, but I am ready to wake up tomorrow with no pain! Hahaha
So if you're ready this and preparing for your BA make sure you have extra ice packs! The one I've liked best came from the Dollar General actually! They are the perfect length and width for 1 per side. I bought a chair pillow and it's been helpful as well as the button front pj's. Otherwise, sleep has been the best medicine.

4th day pre op:()
Well, it day 4 into day 5 and I am wide awake at 2 am. Today began with church then home for a nap. Still having problems with incisions. I can't figure out if it's itching or pulling or perhaps both. It's unbarable at times and ice is my only real relief. I am so ready to be up and mobile but it just hasn't happened yet. I want to drive! My boyfriend is awesome but is starting to be annoyed by my grunting. Hoping this part will soon pass.
Just in case, here is a helpful list of recovery supplies. Hope your bf can come through for you. You might find some pre and post op support in the December 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum. Good luck and update us often along the way!
