3 days post - Healing & Reaction to Size

MEDS & HEALING: Physically, I feel really good today! Finally off my meds, except for the Ketorolac (anti-inflammatory pain reliever). The Hydrocodone and Valium (for muscle spasms) made me pretty sleepy, and I didn't feel enough pain to continue on either of those meds since the morning of Day 2. I'm guessing I may go back to Valium if my muscles start to spasm at some point - does anyone know if this happens later in the healing process? Hopefully not. :) Anyway, I am able to do some light housework and cook. Hubby and kids help me reach for things or carry things that are too heavy. I'm not supposed to lift anything that weighs more than a gallon of milk for a while.

BREAST BAND : My PS advised me to wear my breast band 24/7 until my post-op appointment on Tuesday morning, so I have 48 more hours. He may allow me to just wear it at night, or he might have me keep it 24/7 a little longer depending on my progress. Praying these suckers drop soon!

SIZE/SHAPE: Again, I got 295 round silicone under the muscle. I am pleased with how my breasts look so far, though I was expecting them to look a little bigger. I think the fact that they are sitting high up makes them seem smaller to me, because there is hardly any fullness on the bottom. I suppose when they drop, maybe my opinion will change! I haven't had much bruising, despite the fact that I'm using my arms a lot. Maybe all that pineapple I've been eating?! I've heard the bromelain in pineapple prevents bruising, so I've been eating it daily since a two days before surgery.

Realized I never posted my stats:
Original bra size: 34/32 A
Height 5'3"
Weight 110
petite with a pear shape (pre surgery) hoping to "balance out" my bottom half once the girls settle in.

Surgery Day Surgery was at 7am, and I had to...

Surgery Day
Surgery was at 7am, and I had to arrive at 6pm. Surprisingly, I wasn't too nervous. I brought my ID and credit card to pay for the surgical center, but that's it. Wore lose pj pants, a zip up hoodie, and flip flops so I could get dressed easily after surgery . My nurse, anesthesiologist, and PS all checked in on me to verify all my stats. Then, around 7, I got hooked up to the meds and remember nothing until waking up in the recovery room an hour later.
The anesthesia and meds were wonderful. I really felt pain free that entire first day, just a bit of pressure at the surgery site.
