I'm super excited and nervous for my surgery next week. I've had two great meetings with my PS and confident that he will make me feel happy about my body again! I'm having a stainless tummy tuck with lipo of hips, flanks and arms. I added arms at my pre op a few days ago because I always hate how they look in pictures and figured since I was getting everything else done, I may as well fix those too! Wish me luck, I absolutely hate all gongs medical and am pretty nervous about my post op experience! But I've read such incredible reviews here, and have spoken with other patients of my PS who have had amazing results. So, I know I'm in good hands. And I have a supportive hubby and an incredibly helpful mom just a few miles away who will be helping me to recover. T-minus 6 days!!!

I'm feeling excited and nervous. Wishing I could speed up time and be home already recovering. I keep looking at all the RS before and after pics and reading reviews, hoping I'll be lucky enough to be one of the woman who has a quick and (almost) painless recovery...

Resting at home now

Well today is PO 1. The binder is pretty tight which makes it he's to take full breadths. My muscle repair hurts the most when I get up to pee. Having to get out of the bed really sucks. I have a sleep number bed which is electronic and you can make head and feet high, low. Etc so that is good. But getting up is painful however it only lasts a shot time. My lipo doesn't bother me much. I had it in my hips arms outer thighs. The only time I noticed it is when I get up and it rubs on bed. I've been taking two Percocet every 4-5 hours. I also have a pain pill that doc gave me during surgery that is supposed to last a few days. That may be why my incision doesn't hurt yet. Thank god for the pain meds! I've been sleeping 3-4 hours after I take the meds and resting pretty comfortably on my back with head and feet raised like my doc sowed me how in a really cute diagram. I have a follow up apt at 4:15 today which I'm not looking forward to because it means I have to get up and get in a car. Boo!!!
