Is there any discharge? If not, I would keep the area clean with some dial soap and open to air. Get an appointment as soon as you can. It looks good. It is healing from the inside out. Just don't cover it up with anything. Hope this helps.
Yes some discharge, clear with very little blood. Seeing doc tomorrow morning.
Just clean and pat dry. I wouldn't put anything on it or over it. Try to keep it open to the air as much as you can.
Have you tried cotton balls in your bra over the areas incisions? It will absorb whatever comes out and allow the cut to breathe. It's probably best if it's organic/no blend cotton.
The surgical pads and pantyliners I used soon after surgery would take some scabs with them when I take them off. Cotton didn't and provided relief for sensitive nipples as well.
Maybe that will work for you as it did for me.
Thing is everything was healed. I'm 3 months post op and the hole just formed and j don't know why. Seeing doc today.
I am anxious to hear what they say. I have a stitch working its way out at two months. I hope it's all ok!
Doctor said it happens! It was a dry spot that an internal stitch tried popping through even though i didn't find one, it'll heal in a weak. Just to keep gauze on it and clean it. It already looks better than yesterday. Man was that scary!!
Eek. At 3 months, we think we're out of the woods! Glad it was nothing really. Hope it closes up quickly!
Exactly! Which is why I had a major meltdown lol

Two month post op!

I had my two month (well more like three month) post op appointment yesterday. It was a quick look to see everything is healing great which of course it is. She continued to stress about lotion and scar massaging so I will continue to do that. She told me I could use vitamin E oil but not to go crazy the scars will heal over time. Nothing is going to change that So now I see her in two months! I go home this weekend to visit family. They haven't seen the new boobs in person yet so I can't wait to see their reactions. I hope they're positive ones! That's all for now :)

You look amazing.
Thank you!!!
Woohoo!
Woooooo!!
You look amazing!
Yay congrats, I had my two months post op yesterday. I spent 115$ on silagen silicone sheeting strips and areola strips. We will see if that works. My office also does free laser on the scars but I declined.

Happy fourth weekend

SWIM SUIT VICTORY

Today is the first day I'm going to pool/beach the day away. This bathing suit top in the photo is a top I was never able to wear comfortably. I used to spill out of the top and sides, and it was never appropriate to wear out. So I used just the bottom and a different top for years. Today-- I finally fit into this Michael kors bathing suit top with pride, no massive cleavage and comfort! So here's to us ladies, for making this life changing decision!

Looks awesome! Yay!!
Yeah!! Living in Florida, I can't wait till I can go in the water, and wear a suit! I feel like I am locked inside! You look great! Quick question- what did you use as your compression/night bra?
I was in a compression bra given by my surgeon the day of surgery. I went down a size a few weeks later and she gave me a new one. But after I was cleared to not wear it anymore I switched to a maximum support sports bra. So I found a zip up front one to wear at night. Still do wear it even though I'm sure I don't have to.
