I was happy with my breast until i got through breastfeeding 3 kids. My cup size went from 34 B to probably a 32A. Not sure because I continued wearing my oversized bra. I got tired of wearing padded bra and decided to go through breast augmentation. I initially decided on going with 450cc but after learning that I loose some volume for placing the implant under the muscle, I went with 485cc. Reading other people's positive experience with their procedure on this platform also helped me to go forward with this procedure As I have been on the fence for about 6 years.

So far so good. Stopped my pain med and muscle relaxant at day 4 because I started having serious nausea and vomiting. I also felt drowsy all day. I couldn't wait to get off the antibiotics too because I could taste it in my mouth long after taking it with food...yuck! I have been takin Advil as needed for pain.
I felt a bump next to my right armpit at day 3, I thought it was my implant but my doctor said it is my lymph nodes and expects it to get better as they drop. This pic was taken at day 11 post op. Left breast looks more elevated than right breast, hopefully the muscle relaxes soon.

Just a word to the wise on Advil: Advil amps up bruising so I would stick with Tylenol, I am surprised your surgeon did not tell you this.

Yes you are right, it can if the levels are too high, but I am taking it as needed, which sometimes is at bedtime only because it has anti inflammatory component. No bruising so far.

I am 12 days out from BA surgery, I have had to quit the Advil & I even had to sign a release stating I would only take Acetaminophen for 2 weeks pre & post op . Last procedure I had was laser hair removal (which was not even invasive but hurt like hell; hell meaning giving birth to a child without pain control times a million) on my legs, underarms and bikini areas. I am prone to migraines, so I take Advil because it is the only thing that works. I bruised horribly with laser; it is not worth compromising healing process of any procedure. Just thought I would let you know. Sometimes the bruising can be several days out & prolong healing process.

Congratulations on your surgery! You look great! Sorry to hear about the vomiting...that's tough post op. Try to be patient over the next several weeks, even while each of your breasts settle in at a different rate. It's enough to drive you nuts but hang in there. I am healing well. I have been using silicone sheets on my scar but the itching is driving me cray cray! How do you guys deal with the itching? I also have the silicone gel but just using the sheets for now. I like the mepiform scar treatment silicone sheets because I am able to cut out enough to cover the scar and not waste it.
