I really wasn't as nervous as I think many people are going into this surgery. I had my eyes done by Dr. Nayak 6 years ago and I was 100percent satisfied with the results. So with just a tiny but of trepidation, I went in on Dec. 4th. First of all, everything about Dr. Nayak's office is clean and professional. Dr. Nayak is well dressed and well groomed and I think that speaks volumes. Not all doctors are this way. Also, he has a calm, easy manner. I actually went in for Kybella treatments but they told me my neck would only be saggier after that so I decided to jump in and sign up for the surgery that very day! No regrets at all!! I decided not to get any other opinions because the price seemed fair and in the end I knew I trusted Dr. Nayak and wasn't going to go anywhere else.

I'm not sure how long the surgery lasted because I simply closed my eyes and when I awoke, the surgery was over and I felt way better than I thought. The nurses told me I practically jumped off the table. Maybe they are used to older clients but I felt really good. I think I was just so excited to see the results--and the results were immediate and very gratifying. I could tell right away that it was going to look great. Don't let the scary photos turn you away. There is very little pain, a little swelling and really nothing a good pain killer can't handle.

I rested for a week and then it was so close to Xmas that I got restless and told my husband I wanted to go Xmas shopping. I had very little bruising so I just wore this really ugly black top that had a hoodie thing attached and off I went. I highly recommend going and buying something that will partially hide your face so you can get out if you feel well enough. By Xmas I had no hesitations going out and seeing friends.

In the end, I feel it was the best money I ever spent on myself. No amount of clothes or jewelry could have improved my appearance this much. I wake up every morning with a smile because I know I will look great when I look in the mirror. Dr. Nayak has a spotless reputation and all of the minilift photos I have seen that he has performed turned out excellent. He truly cares and is a master artist. I don't know about the doctors in LA but in St. Louis he is the best and if I were you I wouldn't even waste my time shopping around. My results are very natural and exactly what I wanted (hoped for).
