35 year old looking to regain curves!
I have been on Realself for years and have looked at so many beautiful transformations, I'm ready to count myself amongst them and soon!!!
I have the money sitting in my savings, I have enough time saved up to take 8 weeks off, all I need now is a doctor I can trust.
I want to have a BBL to get my former curves back. I used to have a beautiful, naturally curvy body, but time and bad eating habits have turned my body from curvy to mushy.
I had a tiny waist, a lovely slope to my hips, and a nice heartshaped booty, but now I have a muffin top, hips that are not sloped, but have dents in the middle and my booty is no longer heartshaped it is spongebob squarepants.
I also have developed these lovely back- and bra- rolls despite not being all that big. I think it's because my natural waist is small and any amount of extra fat in that area just ends up in rolls....
Originally I was thinking about going to Aslani in Spain, but the more I look at his work, the more I think he will not address some of my problems. He tends to leave the upper back of women with more fat (then some other doctors), in particular around the bra roll area. I know that if I come out of this surgery with an excess of bra and back fat I would count the surgery a fail. So no Aslani for me.
I'm a bit sad about that, because in terms of shape he delivers the results I would like for my bum and hips... Not only that, he is reasonably close by. I live in Norway so the closer to home I can stay the better. I would like to know that should I need a revision I wouldn't have to spend 1000 euros on tickets and travel costs alone.
I also thought of a few Drs in the Dominican Republic because their work seems amazing. They would definitely get my back rolls off of me, and shape a set of lovely hips. I am scared that the projection of my bum would be too much, though. And more importantly I am afraid of all the horror stories of necrosis, infection and even (near) death...
I thought of Jaime Campos for a while as well, as he seems to do well and I feel Mexico, like the DR, is a culture where they appreciate the booty. I expect them to have a better feel for what makes a booty good aesthetically.
Dr. Campos is still in the running, but I am a little hesitant to book with him. I would like a doctor who takes care of his patients before, during and after the surgery. If I come out with significant asymmetry, I would like a doctor who takes enough pride in his work and cares enough about his patients to correct it. Now, of course some slight asymmetry is to be expected, but if it is measurable in in numbers above 3 cm I feel that's cause for revision. And I would expect only to have to pay for the hospital fees. I hear that Campos is not very responsible when problems occur and this is one reason I have not booked anything with him yet.
For now I'll continue browsing Realself and try to find My Doctor!

Long time no see...
I have been M.I.A for a while, I know. Not without reason, however.
First my fiancè got a job transfer to another country and we had to quickly pack up and spend loads of money on this international move. Then shortly after that my dad died...
Ive been up to my neck in expenses and grief, but am climbing out again!
My finances have settled again and I will be able to do the surgery in the beginning of 2018!
I can think of no better way to close this hectic and painful chapter than to do what I'd been dreaming of for years!
After all this time the only dr. that stuck with me was Campos. That is, untill i read my reviews again.
I will follow up with the doctors I'd been watching but hadn't had many pictures up yet to see if anything has changed since then.
I'm excited and nervous. Also a little fatter for all the stress I've had lately so now I'm looking for someone who can lipo chubbies well ;p

I forgot to mention that the DOminican Republic Dr.'s I mentioned earlier all agreed to a video conference with me! They WOULD take the time to discuss what surgeries I might need in order to achieve my aim and listen to my concerns.
From all that I read here I expected at least the same amount of care from Dr. Campos. No, I actually expected MORE care from him. That's the reason I decided to seriously pursue surgery with him and I am willing to pay more money if that means better care. But if Dr. Campos is providing LESS care than the Dominican Dr's then I really so no reason at all to continue surgery with him.
I'll see how this plays out, but if he is still adamant about refusing a video conference I might just have to reconsider Dominican Republic again.
