I have hated the deep wrinkles on my forehead since my 20's and recently learned that Botox made my already-low brow fall, leaving me with hooded eyes and a surly expression. Recipe for success - brow lift, upper bleph, and laser skin resurfacing. There were a couple of stressful moments, but I couldn't be happier with the results!

Thanks! About a week later, bruises appeared on my forehead (which, I think, had been in shock after the coronal brow lift), so I had to come up with a temporary solution in order to appear in public - long, strategically-placed bangs! It's sort of a shell game. I have to place my bangs over the various bruised areas (slightly concealed by makeup) and then check periodically and re-place them if they've moved (or if new bruises have appeared). But I'd much prefer the temporary bruising and bangs to the wrinkly forehead and/or the post-surgery dead-looking skin.

Me too! That part was a pleasant surprise and an afterthought. I almost said "no," but since I was going to have a little down time anyway, I figured, better to take care of everything at once. It's funny how, when what used to bother you no longer bothers you, you notice something else that bothers you! :-)

How's your numbness? I'm considering a coronal brow lift (I'm 54 and my sagging brow is causing me lids to droop pretty drastically). Two surgeons have told me that's a better option than endoscopic for my situation, but I'm a little worried about hair loss and permanent numbness. What has been your experience, now that a year has gone by?

No numbness at all. Couldn't be happier! My profile picture was taken last week.

I had a hairline brow lift by Dr Balikian that left a 1” wound then scab along my hairline. Now at 2 months and still having to keep scab moist. Have had to get my hair washed every week. Definitely will need silicone scar gel. There was so much blood it all pooled in my cheeks & eyes for 6 weeks. Had to have lymphatic massage. Going on 3 months and my forehead & top of head is so numb it feels like a rock.

Did you do a full face laser or just on your forehead? What’s difference between Coronal browlift vs Hairline browlift?

Laser only around the eye area (crow’s feet)
I don’t know the answer to the second question! Lol

Hello. Was it an endoscopic brow lift? Also, how long before you felt comfortable with going back to work?
