I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Goco's office from the moment I first called to inquire about a Rhinoplasty to my surgery and follow up appointments. His Cosmetic Surgery Coordinator, Cherillyn, was an absolute pleasure to work with and calmed my nerves by showing me before/after photos, explaining the surgical process, and prepping me with what to expect pre/postoperatively. I can't say enough about her hospitality, and in the South, we appreciate that quality :) Dr. Goco was friendly and professional. He first complimented by appearance but then assured me that my preexisting concerns were valid and explained exactly how he would proceed. He also plugged my 'before' photos into a virtual plastic surgery simulator to illustrate what I could expect postoperatively. It was nice to have a visual and tell him what I wanted to tweak before going into surgery. They provided a very thorough cosmetic surgical packet that included medications to avoid, foods that assist with healing, pre/post-op instructions, and directions for my medication schedule. The day of surgery, I was able to access his private waiting room specific to cosmetic surgical patients. His surgery suite within his office is beautiful and I was very comfortable being treated in that space. The anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist were both very friendly, and I felt like I was in good hands. Overall, for surgery, this was a breeze. I was relatively comfortable throughout the healing process and returned to work just 4 days after my procedure. I am a bruiser, so I will say that I had black eyes for about a week and a half, but I develop a bruise just about every day of my life. I am very happy with my results, and I believe Dr. Goco nailed the more "delicate" nose I requested. I would highly recommend Dr. Goco to anyone that asks! I have chosen to not post photos for discretionary purposes, but I have no problem showing this shnoz off in my daily life.
