he siad No dog ears in office... I look like I was bitten....need to get Lipo

WORTH IT$6,800
I was told for months it could be fixed in office. Now he said I need lipo to the flanks to get rid of the dog ears. !900 for his fees and 700 for clinic. Oh well I can't afford that so trying to just accept it and move on. If any one knows of someone that would fix the unevenness on the one side in office...Please let me know. I really did not want to be put under again. I dont want to be skinny I just would like to be even. It is just the last 2 inches that I have the over hang. I will post picture in the morning. I know the lipo would everything look even better but that is not in my budget. Especially when I was told it could be fix in office and the story changed. I think I will post pictures to see if any local doctor can fix in office. Over all I am happy with it but the last two inches. So any one that knows where I can get it done for less and in office. Please let me know....I know lipo would make it amazing but I dont have the amazing budget. Trying to just be happy.. you cant see it under clothes or even with underwear. Maybe I'm being to vain...I'm going to be 39 who cares I'm the only one who can see it.

Sorry to hear about what you are dealing with. No I don't feel like you are being vain at all. Yes we have to have realistic expectations but, he shouldn't have told you that it could be fixed in the office. It looks like dog ears and I agree that lipo would help to improve as well but what I don't understand is why it can't be performed in the office. It sounds like a 30min procedure from what the clinic would charge. Does he not have the equipment in his office?
I guess not. Not sure if i should go else where? I think I will start looking around. I dont want to be skinny I just dont want the extra over hang. You can see I had it since day one and it never changed. My waist is what has gotten smaller not the dog ear. Does your doctor have that kind of equipment in his office? I think thats what made it worse. When as you can see from previous post that he told me months ago that it could be done in office. If he would have said maybe in office..I would not have been expecting it. Any suggestion of any one who can do it in office would be appreciated. Thanks for letting vent.
Yes I can see what you are talking about although I hate to say it because I don't know if that's good or bad. Yes my dr has lipo machinery in his office. Most PS do because not all lipo is done under general anesthesia. I would ask him what changed. I don't understand why dr's don't try their hardest to please the patient. I went to several PS in Indiana before making my final decision and they all repair dog ears in the office and perform minor lipo.
Are the dog ears the extra skin on the side ? I dont see any dog ears.

Hello Mickey! Thank you for sharing your journey, :) Now that it has been a few years, how did your hips turn out? I've been doing my research here for the past few years, and we looked to have sort of similar body shapes, I am narrow hipped, and I feel I will have to have multiple surgeries to get to the correct female shape, (I have overhang front and densely on the sides over the top of the hips) I have always dreamed of having. Where I should curve in, I protrude out... I'm in my mid 30s, and now I want to do something for myself for once- its time!
Sorry I just saw this post. After the dog ear revision its better but the lipo made a side overhangs.

I will see doctor in the spring and if I still need the dog ears fix than he will do that. No lipo just fully tummy tuck. That is just how good he is! Will post again when I see him again.

Thank you so much for sharing everything! I swear your before pics look like me. I feel like the only person with that belly hang. I've had it since I was probably 16 years old and no matter what I do it never goes away. I hope to be brave enough for a tummy tuck one day soon.
You should do it....I only wish I would have done it sooner. I only did the full tummy tuck since you will never get rid of the over hang with diet or exercise. I can do the rest myself...to keep my cost low. Good luck
