I literally read about Kybella 3 days ago and booked my appointment for tomorrow. Excited to get it done, nervous about the whole bullfrog recovery look for 2 weeks. My before shots (looking straight ahead and looking down) attached.
I'm hoping I can spend this weekend recovering through the worst of it! Wish me luck and stay tuned!

Kybella: 8 hours post-treatment
Got it done. Now at home. If you Botox, then it's basically the same feeling but only if you use topical freezing and place an ice pack on there!
I ended up using two vials (was initially told one vial might suffice). The nurse marked the spots where NOT to inject, applied the dotted "temporary tattoos" and away she went.
Tiny botox-like pricks was all I really felt but lower, closer down to the neck it was more sensitive. I almost immediately started to feel the achy, bruising feeling in my chin (the tip of my chin, which has nothing to do with the injection area).
Felt like my nerves or muscles were being affected all day. But it's just the bruised and aching feeling I feel now. Sore. Definitely puffing out - I look bloated and stuffy in the neck area.
Going to ice religiously!

Kybella: Official Day 1 Recovery
It's been 24 hours since my procedure. Yesterday was basically the worst of it, feeling-wise. But based on my research, reviews on here and medical professional advice, TODAY OFFICIAL DAY 1 is supposed to be the worst of it.
BUT! Today, feels ok! Just swollen, a little achy/bruised feeling if I tense my jaw and throat muscles. That's it. I expected so much worse.
Tip for faster recovery:
1) Pop some arnica (the nurse there gave me 5-6 little pellets (homeopathic stuff).
2) ICE ICE ICE. I Iced religiously - on the 3 hour drive back, I iced twice for about 15 minutes each. Then I went home and changed my ice pack about 3-4 times (each time was about 15 minutes, or as long as those little gel ice packs last for).
3) Drink lots of water. Your body is ridding itself of the destroyed fat cells.
