How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Botched vagina picture
Added picture that shows old vagina (2-3 years post operative). I have had several thoughts about where in my discussions involving my surgeon, her PA, my mom, my yoga friend "DC Rachel Murad" did I agree to this genital mutilation
Surprisingly Wonderful Experience
Being a single pretty immigrant, 90% passing, in-stealth(for career), colored trans-woman in the good ole USA is extremely challenging. On top of that I have very high standards and expectations from myself and others, so hope this is clear that this is legit and very genuine.
I had my SRS in early summer 2014 with a doctor in Pennsylvania, I am local to the Chicago-land area in Illinois. The surgery was botched and I really dont want to make this a rant but the doctor I chose has a pretty consistent outcome with other patients as well, which was unknown to me at that time.
When you transition young in the middle of a fledgling career and are with botched surgeries life can become unbearable. But I guess what does not kill you makes you stronger so after a bunch of traumatic events I somehow managed to not kill myself and research ways to overcome this genital mutilation. I tried a lot of local doctors here in Illinois(Illinois Masonic, NorthWestern, UChicago, UIC) and I was surprised to find limited, costly, and unacceptable medical assistance. So I tried other states like Arizona, California, etc but pretty much had the same result.
One full-moon night, I found Dr Kamol on realself, and contacted his PA Pitchet. It really took us a while to understand where we both were coming from but we planned on labiaplasty first and then the main surgery which would be colon. Mind you, communicating with their staff can be challenging but they do have the most helpful young pinoy staff :)) who completely understand the patients from the states and canada. I really was taking a leap of faith when I booked a ticket and arranged visa(I am an asylee permanent resident so I cannot even deplane certain countries and airports), arranged the finances, scheduled appointments in and around an extremely demanding and competitive job and finally made it to Bangkok. And after that everything was perfect both times. I finally felt I received modern, and compassionate medical care.
There definitely is a humengous culture gap between frankly any country and Thailand which takes sometime to be overcome. But once I did that and they earned my trust it was smooth sailing, and I have attached pictures..
I am pleased aesthetically and experience both clitoral and vaginal orgasm.
I do not smell from the little discharge that I do get sometimes. Also the self lubrication is not overwhelming when aroused. I have dated guys who could not tell until they saw the mark (picture attached) I have taken off 1 point for that reason alone.
Since the doctor is far away and I have a troubling history with doctors here I treat the granulation pain with Medical Marijuana. In any case I really don't want to flood my new vagina with Silver Nitrate(Is that an off-label use??)
