Always been a "beauty improvement" person. First time using Restylane Lyft. Went for Voluma but there was a special for the Restylane: buy 2 vials, get one free! Was told the jury is still out on how long Voluma works, and it was $850/vial, so I said, "What the heck, let's go with the Restylane and see what happens." It was an immediate improvement as my checks were sagging & the "puppet mouth" was definately staring me in the face. I was sore the rest of the day, but continued with my ice packs. I also started Arnica tablets a week in advance, and cut out all the vitamins supplements I take and laid of my wine a few days before. I woke up with no pain or bruising! Too soon to tell how it looks when it settles in. I go back for a follow up in 3 wks. to see how it's going.

Oh boy!

Had a 3 wk. follow-up after 3 vials of Restylane in checks and "puppet mouth". Noticed after a week when the swelling went down, but slowly saw "nothing there". By the time I went back, I looked like I did before. Wish they took before/after pics, or I did them, because it was evident I wasted $1,000. Told that I needed more, but questioned "Why, when I don't know if more will last longer?" Told them I had better results with Radiesse, so went for one vial in the upper check area below temples. Naturally, I'm swollen, so I shall see what happens and go back in a week for possibly more. So far I've spent $1,500+ and wondering if I blew my tax refund!!! Sorry for no pictures.....trust me, I speak the truth!

Radiesse after Restylane failure
MAMAMIAApril 23, 2016
Went back after 1 week with the Radiesse because the Restylane was gone in a few weeks. Said I still had swelling, so I go back again in 3 wks. to see what is "really there". Maybe I'm just not a candidate for fillers after a few weeks. The Restylane can help with the "sucken eyes", but the Radiesse cannot go in there, just for high cheekbone area & puppet lines......I don't mind the combo idea, but if they both are gone after a month or so, it's not worth the $$$....up to $2,000!!

I'm curious how you're feeling about the fillers at this point? I just had restylane lyft yesterday and hoping it makes a difference
Thank you for posting! Can you post some pics too? Love to see your results!
Did you have all three vials injected? What areas - cheeks, marionette lines and anywhere else?
