WORTH IT$7,000
It’s finally been a week!! I have no problem driving, raising my arms, and carrying stuff now. Also finished my antibiotics & weaned off the ibuprofen & paid meds (thank god b/c I’ve been constipated & SUPER bloated). The only pain/discomfort I feel now is when I wake up in the morning )-: but it’s definitely an improvement from before. I have a small bruise on my right boob, which the doctor said is super normal, and my left nipple is still numb. The swelling has definitely gone down & my boobs feel softer (still pretty stiff tho), but it still looks kinda fake to me rn since it’s so round on top. I just want them to drop alreadyyyy, but i heard they don’t fully drop til 3-6 months... I guess it’s good to get a boob job in the winter just cuz they’ll b nice & fluffy in time for summer!!

PAIN MED TIP!!

Okay, so apparently I've been taking my pain meds alllll wrong.
So the nurse from the surgical center advised me to alternate b/w Ibuprofen & Hydrocodone every 4 hours, which is actually false. My doctor said to take Ibuprofen every 8 hour (max 3 per day) & Hydrocodone every 4 hours (max 8 per day). Ibuprofen is mainly for inflammation, while Hydrocodone is for the PAIN, so when I've been alternating it, I was actually only taking pain meds every 8 hours. SO PLEASE learn from my mistakes!! It was a v bad experience )-:

Post-Op Day 2

Last night was probably the worst night I've had so far.. I've been taking (& alternating) Ibuprofen & Hydrocodone every 4 hours, and would wake up at 4 am, 8 am, just to take a pill and go back to sleep. However, I would wake up an hour before my alarm due to the *searing* pain in my breasts (along the incision point). It was awful, I couldn't sleep, only doze off at a 90 degree angle. Plus, my boyfriend didn't have much sleep either b/c every time I wake up, I would be crying/screeching. I *hope* this is just one of those bad nights, but now I'm resorting to napping throughout the day rather than just sleeping at night )-':
