WORTH IT$10,000
Dr Rousso and his staff have lived up to their great reputations. He gave me several options to address beginning turkey neck, marionette lines, slight drooping jowls and I chose a mini lift, the most effective. I look forward to getting my dressings off tomorrow and final results on down the road ????????????

Looks like it's going to be beautiful!!! Excited for you. I'm thinking of a mini myself. I had a full FL when I was 48, now I'm 63..almost, still looks good. I look fifty-ish. But it's starting to sag in the neck/jowls. Hate to have to do this..but my Dr. mentioned a mini last year. I want to do local. I hate when the mouth corners droop down, starts making me look sad. I feel like I have to smile all the time. Lol!!! And actually I have had a couple of people say, what's wrong??? I see people like that all the time, but I would never say that!!

I live in Great Neck, New York. My Dr. Is here too, Dr. Sassoon, he's excellent but very expensive!!! Because of the area. He has a office in Manhattan also. Everything here is expensive!! I see you paid $10,000! I really was expecting something like $5,000.!! Since it is a mini. I got to read more on your review.

Had my consultation and he quoted me $12,000! I just don't want to get into that expense again. And since I had a full FL at age 48, I'm concerned about too tight of a pull, the mouth area. I've seen some photos on here of ladies mouths looking too tight secound time around. I don't like that strain look, it's just too obvious. My main concern is that neck. At 63, I don't think it's a natural look. And then last year was my breast lift and year before Lipo, so I think I better watch myself!!! So I'm leaning toward just a neck lift. But now I'm waiting on a figure for that. His coordinator is out until the 17th. He has 2 offices one in NYC and one in Great Neck. I'm not good at waiting, especially to get a figure. Lol!!!

Ultherapy is a waste and it hurts and is expensive

Mini Lift.....Is that where the skin is pulled up but not the underlying muscle? I think it's fantastic that you had this done today and already online posting? Good for you! Do you have to be on antibiotics? Did you go home with no drains? How long does the dressing stay on for?

Dr's office gave me the runaround yesterday about pain medicine and I'm not happy about it. I used Dr Rousso since he is the best face guy but recommend being aware of pain med stinginess.

Your surgeon did an excellent job. I am 8 weeks out, my incisions/closures under chin and behind ears looked exactly like yours. Everything has smoothed out and flattened behind ears. Your jawline and neck look beautiful. I am surprised you have so little swelling, good for you. About the pain meds, I hated taking mine made the room spin and made me vomit. I ended up taking just Tylenol every 4 hours and that covered it. Did you have a MACS? That is where they put in suspension sutures and pull them upwards to attach.

I'm happy with how my surgery is turning out so far, esp swelling and healing

We appreciate the fresh perspective and comments regarding our Clinic’s medication protocol after facelift surgery. As our medication protocol has been in place for over 20 years we have had few, if any, patients complain about the amount of pain medication prescribed post facelift surgery. The majority of patients’ tell us they did not need all that was prescribed, and started Tylenol after a couple of days for any residual pain. We realize that every patient has a different threshold level for pain, so we prescribe what we believe to be adequate for pain but, at the same time, in the best interest of the patient and keeping in mind my responsibility to not over prescribe pain medications.

All plastic surgery involves pain and downtime. I should have waited until I was in a better place to post.

I had a full face and neck lift plus fat transfer last month and am very surprised you still needed pain meds at 5 Days post especially given your lack of swelling. By day 3 I was taking Panadol only a few times a day and I was black and blue and very swollen. I guess as your Dr said, we all have different pain thresholds. Your results are beautiful so I hope it was worth the discomfort :-)
