I found these reviews beyond helpful when making my decision to go ahead with my BA, so I thought I'd add my journey to the mix :)

My breasts have always been a 32AA and have never budged, no matter how much I weigh, so I knew surgery was the only option to get the look I was after. I wanted a natural look, one that could probably replicate the padded bras I've been wearing for years, and I had a lovely surgeon and nursing team to guide me through the process.

The width of my breast was measured at 11cm, so according to the Motiva chart, my best options were 245cc or 265cc. Although only 20cc difference, the 265cc felt like it had a bit more fullness to it that would balance out the rest of my body better.

Hiya, it's going really well and my recovery is on track! Really happy with how soft they've become despite being so early on in the recovery stages. I'll keep updating as the weeks go on :)

Did you get the round or ergonomix one? I really love the shape of yours! That's my goal!

Day 1-7 Post Surgery

Immediately out surgery, I was ready for the pointy boobs! The recovery process after anaesthesia was so simple, and I was getting dressed to go home within 2 hours of the procedure. No pain at this point due to the painkillers given to me during surgery, just a generally heavy and tight feeling.

Days 1 and 2 after surgery, I only took the prescribed painkillers first thing in the morning. Day 3 was the most uncomfortable for me so I took the painkillers when I could. Be warned though, they really weren’t joking about the bloating and constipation that comes from taking painkillers

Day 4-7, chest no longer feels tight and nipple sensation is absolutely normal. Only issue I’ve been experiencing is a really sharp pain around my right incision. Usually happens when I’m walking for a long period of time, almost like the implant is sitting on the incision or stitches or something. Can sometimes feel a bit debilitating, especially as it gets worse when generally breathing, so I have to take shallow breaths during the pain.

Day 7 was my post-op appointment with the nurse. Told her about my pain and it doesn’t sound like anything to be concerned about. She checked my stitches which looked amazing for only a week of recovery, the nurse thinks they’re around 3cm, so I’m totally impressed by my surgeon’s skill with that. I have to change the tape over my stitches every 5 days, and I can finally shower properly again!

Day 8-14 Post Surgery

The photo I’ve loaded was on Day 9 and from the front, they’ve already started to settle slightly and look less stuck on my chest.

I’m still getting the odd pain on my right incision. Every time I think I’m not going to feel it again, it’ll happen. I initially managed to remove the pain by tightening the straps on my support bra, but that doesn’t work every time.

Starting to feel a bit of chafing on my skin from wearing a bra 24/7 and my nipples have gotten super sensitive after day 10. I’ve ordered myself some nipple covers so that there’ll be no rubbing on the bra - also my nipples seem to be pointy all the time at the moment so I’ll need the covers for when I go back to work!

Overall though, really loving the result so far. I know this is only the very beginning of recovery, so I’m really excited to see how they settle in the coming weeks!
